I hope we see Raanta in the lineup tonight, he earned it. I don’t see us playing Raanta throughout and Im good with Freddie in the first away game. But if Raanta does well tonight and Freddie gives up 4 goals in the first away game then sit him and play him sparingly when Raanta needs a break. I don’t think Pyotr is playoff ready he’s either played outstanding or given up a ton of goals.

That’s fair, Dougie can play D but true he was MIA at times. Burns was a great ad and doing D and offense. And we do need goals from our Ds!

Having games like the Devils and Leafs at home doesn’t bode well. its just one game at least. Makes me thankful Canes started off right with a home win.

I think it’s Leaf’s being Leaf’s, they took 2/3 vs TB in reg season and the third game was an OT loss. But it’s the playoffs and the Leafs high hopes are often extinguished there.

We tried to warn @glenwo2 the Playoff Rags are tough, leading by 2 and the Devils have a hole to dig out of at home.

I’ll watch at least portions of Devils and Rags and check on the bolts and leaf’s and other games scores.

Agree with Raanta game 2 and Freddie game 3. For game 4 however Freddie IF he played well in game 3, if not then Raanta. We really need to steal an early away game and not let Islanders tie us up 2-2.

So it was my impression that steady Freddie played better than Raanta on the road. I researched it and that’s not the case stat wise which was a bit of a surprise to me.
