Does anyone know who was defending against Seattle DT Jarran Reed? Dude had 8 tackles and 1.5 sacks!

CJ Stroud: I’m a football player, not a test taker
96Bravo replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
The only thing I can say is, on paper, Houston's o-line should look worse than ours. But yesterday, they didn't allow a sack. Like ours, their running game was terrible. But Houston never gave up on it. I feel like their coaching staff has made adjustments to their injuries. Our o-line looked horrible. Dalton was more successful than Bryce, but he made decisions quicker. And some of our receivers were actually open occasionally. CJ's receivers look good, but he also makes them look good. I don't know about y'all, but it seems like we have yet to see a clean pocket from our team. They can't protect the QB and they can't run the ball. So even though I wanted Stroud, there's no way I can judge Bryce right now. -
THE Official David Tepper Sucks Thread
96Bravo replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I guess we have to play the hand we're dealt, but if I could vent: I'm the kinda guy that thinks when something works, don't "fix" it. Steve Wilks worked. His concentration on the run worked. Even Sam Darnold had his best run behind that o-line. The defense was stout. And we almost won the NFC South (if we didn't lose both starter CB's maybe we win the division). The future looked good. Especially with improvements from free agency and the draft. Now...I think Reich could be a good coach. But it feels like we're starting all over again. Why? Because there's something about Wilks that Tepper, or whoever, didn't like. -
With Luvu now out, along with the other injuries.... This is the worst our D has broken. Sad.

Punch this in whatever it takes!

This gives me hope that Bryce ain't so bad. I just needed proper perspective. This line is terrible right now, which is the major culprit. We're not running the ball well, we're not protecting the QB. I think the receivers are good enough, just not great. But every throw is hurried. I don't know when Corbett comes back, but it'll make a big difference.
-
Nothing looks easy, offensively. I got no answers. And now our D is breaking down.
-
Ask a stupid question...
-
Are we gonna run the ball anymore? Look, Houston's running game sucked today, but they still kept handing off.
-
Man, we miss Corbett. Still allowing too much pressure. I might be wrong, but I feel like Zavala is struggling again. I mean he is a rookie, so understandable. But still...if we can't hold back Seattle's rush, it's gonna be a long season.
-
I think we're all a bit frustrated because things haven't started the way we wanted. But I do agree that if Bryce can bring his style to the NFL, it should be special. But I think it'll just take more time than we thought.

Now Houston can't stop Lawrence.
-
I'm a CJ guy and even I'm getting frustrated with the comparisons. The Saints have proven to be a ridiculously good defense. Jury's out on Reich and his play calling. Still gotta wait and see.
-
Quite the shootout between CJ and Trevor. Trevor doing with a running game though.

Did I say the Jags scored quickly?
-
Jags scored awfully quick!

So much for trying Singletary. LOL
-
Man CJ and Schultz can NOT connect.
-
And of course, Pierce with another catch.
-
Geez...try Singletary.
-
Nevermind. I just saw it on NFL Network.
-
What just happended in Jax. My gamecast looks weird.
-
I do think Stroud could probably improve his short game. Needs better chemistry with his TE Schultz.
-
Here comes Lawrence. He must love playing from behind.
-
Pierce averaging 2.3 yards a carry. 2.1 last week.
