  1. Darnold’ had a great start to 2021 and decent end of 2022. Similar to Bryce, but he adds rushing td’s Bryce can’t seem to muster. Not good enough to build around so they went for Bryce, and got essentially Darnold without legs. If you can’t laugh, you’ll cry
  2. He’s special ed pre-snap, and completely lobotomized during the play. Next year will be no better roster wise, unless they can sign a Calvin Ridley or Mike Evans and an OL. But every team needs that so all that’s left will be scraps. Bryce needs to turn sack plays into 3-5 yard scrambles instead of waiting for trash wr’s who won’t be open unless it’s a broken play
  3. My original statement was he is the worst Qb in the modern era. Not the worst stats although he is up there if not in the pole position. You aren’t going to throw 17 ints with <10 air yards. Common sense. Wins, production, stats all factor in.
  4. Tlaw used his legs more, and a lot of his int’s were deep throws. Not good by any means, but how their offense moved was night and day to this year’s panthers. Bryce would have had 3-4 more picks if he could throw a hail mary
  5. Makes Bryce clearly the worst modern era rookie qb ever considering he had a full training camp as the 1
  6. So not getting training camp reps as a rookie and being thrust in is meaningless? Rosen wasn’t as bad anyway, had more td’s and won 3 games
  7. Rosen nor Clausen were the qb1 starter going into their seasons. Got put in because Matt Moore sucked or got injured (can’t remember), sam Bradford sucked or got injured and Rosen came in. Neither was a messiah.
  8. Yes, but my point was no modern Qb has ever been as bad. Terry Bradshaw was the worst ever but no point in going back that far, the game is changed. No one in the last 20 years had a worse offensive production from the Qb spot that played an entire season than Bryce.
  9. The only way my mind is changed is if it comes out tomorrow that Bryce was playing with a torn throwing labrum all year. Short of that, he is literally high school option qb without the option ability
  10. David Carr may have actually been better, no hyperbole. Scored some rushing TD’s and threw the ball downfield.
  11. The only qb to play a full season and be worse than Bryce was David Carr. Let that sink in. And that was when you could crush qb’s and maul WR’s
  12. A couple good throws but 20-25 yards isn’t what I consider downfield. Not having a 50+ TD play is unprecedented in this era. The Mingo wide open TD overthrow was the closest
  13. Maybe he’s good in 70% effort practices. In hindsight, It was clear from the first preseason real live action he was overmatched.
  14. Even given that, how can you go through an entire season and not make one great play down the field? I don’t think this has ever happened
  15. No QB in the modern rules era Who started the entire season was this bad. Only being the #1 pick prevented his benching. Jamarcus Russell’s first year as a starter was considerably better.
  16. stats guru, see how many games without an offense touchdown and if this team qualifies
  17. He was a naive gunslinger early on before the confidence was beaten out of him like Bryce. He has been awful. Better than Bryce, but still awful. And he has two all-pros on offense. Sam Howell faded fast, it happens
  18. Throw out Levis’ miracle first game, and he’s worse than Bryce. He’s been pitifully bad the last month. And already constantly hurt. also, Levis barely got beat by Bryce on the S2. Funny how the two best S2’s are the worst of the rookie qbs
  19. Weinke also had 6 rushing td’s. His production blows Bryce away. 19 picks in 2001 might be 15 era adjusted for today.
  20. Bryce is so bad that goggle top results are Charlotte Chrisitian’s DE Bryce Young going to Notre Dame
  21. OL doesn’t do him any favors because they think he sucks. It was obvious early on when they weren’t helping him up after sacks. We’ve all experienced that new highly paid coworker that sucks at his job and it creates a lot of resentment
  22. He’s going to be the top-3 highest paid OL in the league next year. Sorry, but he’ll no
  23. But the most unlikely for this front office. Post June-1 cut Moton and Jackson saves 27mil cap space. Tag and try to trade burns or just cut. Miles cut. Chark cut. Voila 100 mil to spend on Cousins, a wr and OL
