Hey Herbstreit, literally everyone with a firing synapse in their brain knew that the refs overturning that call in Texas after fans delayed the game throwing bottles that it was going to cause a lot more of the same. That was one of the worst instances of officiating I've ever seen.

It's not shocking. College coaching is 90% recruiting. But they're western Miami. They're a team that will go as far as their offense would carry them. Don't get it twisted. Their D is still bad. No longer absolutely bottom of the barrel bad, just run of the mill bad.

Nothing against Miami. Fun to watch. I like Ward. But I've seen how this team plays out. They're the UNC Howell/Maye teams.

Injury history and struggling under pressure combined to not taking him in the 1st round IMO. If we went defense on the 1st and he's sitting there at the top of the 2nd? Well now that becomes mighty intriguing. Lord knows we wouldn't be taking that much of a risk there given our history of 2nd round picks.

It's always going to be scary. A lot of them are going to bust. That's just reality. But we're actually a decent landing spot for a young QB now. If we draft one and he fails then it was a an issue of talent evaluation and/or talent development not a roster readiness standpoint.

We have a good OL. We have a good RB and another highly drafted one. We have promising young WRs. We've setup the next guy by trying to build around Bryce.

I think so too. I think Tepper is probably there too. When you fire a coach midseason and then next season the QB still looks the same and the new coach is telling you the same things about him as the old coach at some point reality has to sink in.

Bryce playing just good enough to give the team enough hope to roll with him again next year is the worst possible scenario.

Would've rather won but can't be mad about a three point loss on the home court of #1 in the second game of the season. If you would've told me RJ Davis would go 2-15 and that RJ, Cadeau, and Trimble would combine to go 10-36 I would've confident said we got blown out for sure.

When you have a pretty good unit across the board you can float a weak link, especially on the interior OL.

App has just fallen off a cliff. I'm just not sure they have the resources to compete in D1 with the new NIL stuff. Not sure they would've made that jump up if they knew what was coming. As a fan I'd MUCH rather compete for championships at the D1AA level than be a doormat in D1.
