Attempting a 58 yarder up 5 with 30 seconds to go is colossally stupid. Ended up not mattering but getting a great field position near midfield was basically the only prayer NY had all for the mere advantage of going up 8? They already had to have a TD. A punt bets you at least 20 even with a TB and probably takes 7+ seconds off the clock. Not to mention that the low trajectory of a near 60 yarder makes the likelihood of a blocked kick much higher. Dallas losing on a blocked 58 yarder they didn't even need would've just been *chef's kiss* LOL

Cam Ward.....opinions (AKA A Thread About Shedeur Sanders)

fug it. I'm done rooting for tanking. Not like it's done us any good. Someone who can't play a lick will wow Tepper at dinner anyway. -
There's no way this will be worse than 1916. That was two back to back hurricanes within a week. The second one dropped upwards of 20" in a 24 hour period on already completely saturated land and swollen streams. That's the one that wiped out the town of Mortimer on Wilson Creek. Wilson Creek crested at 94 feet through the gorge. This will probably be the worst flooding in the last 20 years or so though. It ain't nothing to sneeze.

Obviously the Florida gulf coast is going to take the brunt if it but here in Panthersdom this is looking like a potential biblical flooding event for southern Appalachia. We had a big line of heavy thunderstorms come through last night and a lot of streams were already at flood levels, now a drenching hurricane behind that. They're saying Lake James will hit it's highest point ever. They're expecting it 10' over the spillway. It's already spilling over.

I'm a sucker for those blueberry cheesecake milkshakes -
I think you're a little overzealous to be honest. Andy had a great game no doubt but there were also 2-3 dropped INTs. The Stat line could've ended up looking a lot different.

Some of y'all done forgot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_no5YnIrAb4 Listen to the sound when it hits Dickson's hands. Like a baseball catcher's mitt popping. That was an insane catch too. And he threw it while falling back, not even stepping into it.

Well deserved. Meanwhile, me thinking back at all the folks who cooked up constant excuses for Bryce. It's the staff, it's the system, it's the OL, it's the receivers, never mind that Dalton threw for damn near 400 yards against Seattle Bryce could do that too with that many attempts...

I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been more of that type of stuff happening.

"This stuff of getting injured during a contested TD catch... that's just not gonna work for me. Dude is grandstanding trying to put the attention on himself."

Yeah, we're supposed to get a proper drowning. It's the way it's been all summer long. We're either in a weeks long drought or we're getting washed away. Nothing in between.
-
That's alright. We're gonna get into peak season for chasing big browns soon. Seems like 90% of the 18"+ brown trout I catch are late September to early November. Once water levels start receding after this hurricane comes through it's gonna be on.

Another outing like last week and at minimum Mack has to announce he's retiring at the end of the season which everyone already assumes anyway. Honestly, I'd force him out immediately and hand the keys to Lindsey to see what he could do as HC.

Lawrence is probably the most overpaid player in the NFL right now. The only thing that could make that Bryce deal worse would be to trade him for a middling QB paid like a future first ballot HOFer.
-
Pretty much lost all respect for him last year watching him make constant excuses for Bryce instead of just admitting that he was sucking ass and that his pre-draft evaluation was proving wildly wrong in real time. Hey, it happens. I respect the people who just own it when they're wrong. You've been wrong before and you'll be wrong again. Happens to everybody. But don't try to gas light me because your ego can't allow you to admit you're wrong.

There are a lot of folks who quit the forum because of what they perceived as Bryce bashing who would be quite upset that TD has called them out for being brainwashed by the media carrying water for a prospect they were all wrong about and bashing the whole team to make excuses for a QB who was failing miserably on the job.
