Fitts has assembled a terrible roster. Reich and company have done a terrible job of attempting to scheme around that terrible roster. Tepper has built an almost unimaginably terrible overall organization based on the consistently terrible results the team has produced under his ownership with the only constants being losses and utter dysfunction.

Hell, I'm legit rooting for Bryce. That'd be some delicious crow to eat. But I'm not going to embarrass myself blaming everything under the sun to cover for Bryce in the meantime. He's playing bad. Yes, the entire offense is. That's true. But Bryce is part of the bad. It's not like he's a diamond shining in the rough. He's very much a big part of why the entire offense is bad. Sorry, that's just the reality of the situation.

Just fire Frank and Fitts on Black Monday and start over. Again. But firing coaches mid-season to get a head start in the searching process clearly isn't helping us so let's just stop doing that. -

Neal is a flat out bust. He's trash. -
I don't feel at all confident about beating Clemson tomorrow. Our defense has completely collapsed. Clemson's D is good enough to get a stop here and there and that's honestly all they need to accomplish. They'll probably have to beat themselves with turnovers. Our D is giving up an average of 40 points per game over the last three ACC games and those were all against bad offenses

poo, honestly I didn't realize the thread I was responding too. I'll delete it.

Exactly. They'll probably have their pick of a top WR to replace Higgins or a top OL. They should really go OL. Burrow has taken an absolute beating through his career.

That sucks but it's the right call. They're 5-5 with a thought schedule ahead. Even if he could return they're gonna be out of the running without soon. Betcha they wish they would've traded Higgins now.

*looks at backup OL* Oh, THAT'S why. I still think Ickey's best position is OG and Christensen's best position it LT.- 58 replies

A tank season in a year when we don't have a 1st round pick is the most Panthers thing ever.- 35 replies

Not sure. His hand measured at 9 3/4" so it's not a hand size issue. Hand size really only becomes a major concern sub-9".

Cope harder.

Agreed. Felt like one step forward and three steps back.

At 5-5 the Bengals have to start thinking about shutting Burrow down, especially if this wrist injury is going to keep him out multiple games. He's been banged up all year, they have a tough schedule down the stretch, and if he misses any games they're likely gonna be out of it by the time he's back again. At that point, I'd honestly just shut him down.

The more I watch of his stuff the less I care for it. He clearly gets extremely hung up on some nit picky stuff and will ignore glaring stuff if he likes the guy. He basically just sticks with preconceptions for way too long even when his preconceptions are clearly not being born out on the field week after week after week. At some point it's just lie, hey y'all it ain't what I thought it was going to be.

This Browning guy looks decent. They really would've been better off playing him than playing badly hobbled Burrow early on this year. Hell, he looks significantly better than Bryce. He's willing to throw the ball down the damn field at least.

Peyton probably had the best in the pocket footwork of any QB I can recall. The guy was slow as hell on the run but he could chop it up in the pocket.
