#10 is our basement but given the misery of this season that would be a crushing disappointment.

Nice move by Sanders. He's shown some good promise after looking like the hottest of garbage fires early on.

I think there's some decent depth there. I think that's kinda the story of this whole draft class. Light on elite prospects but good depth.

I can't speak for what others have said. The ball was the only place it could be to both give his receiver a chance and navigate the defenders. If you can't see it that's on you.

Not sure what you're watching. I mentioned the ball he sailed. The endzone throw was in the only spot it could be between the two defenders. Throw that ball higher and further ahead and it's an easy INT.

I liked the player, I just had serious questions about his arm strength at the NFL level.

Whether he caught it cleanly or not he was getting popped. Had nothing to do with the hit.

Penix looks pretty darned good and that really sucks. He sailed that one ball but other than that he was pretty spot on. His arm strength looks a lot better at the NFL level that I thought it would.

I think we're probably wasting another season either way. I'm just not big on this QB draft class outside of Ward. We're probably looking at rolling with Bryce and hopefully a quality veteran backup. I don't see anyway around it other than selling the farm to try to trade up again. No thanks on that.

I mean, that's just where we are right now. With Bryce's improved play, what will be a better option for us? The only guy potentially available that I'd want is Cam Ward and he's highly unlikely to be there when we're on the board. If he was, is draft him and put Bryce on the auction block but it's highly unlikely. Most likely, it's Bryce. Hopefully with a legit marginal starter/good backup type behind him to push him. I'd make him earn it in camp next year though. We got the best out of Bryce when we stopped coddling him and benched him and made him earn it.

Surely there's going to be sweeping changes on the defensive staff and roster.

What else is he supposed to say? Unless you're going to fire the guy now you have to say that you still support him even if you plan on firing him after the season wraps up.

Maybe, maybe not. It'll be like every other draft. There will be a couple of busts in the top 10, a couple of stellar performers, and most will be in that "good player but not what we expected out of a top 10 pick" type of guys.

Sitting at #6 right now. #3 is our absolute ceiling and we'd need need the Pats, Giants, Browns, and Titans to all win while we lose to pull that off so yeah... not gonna happen. LOL Win and we could drop as low as #10. Just lose this game and let the chips fall where they may.

Worst D in the league with a bottom 5 offense will do that for you.

He played a lot better after his benching. No doubt about it. We're not going to be in position to draft Cam Ward and he's the only QB I'd want high in this draft so let's see how Bryce plays next year with a season under his belt in the offense.

It has nothing to do with my opinion on QBs. It has everything to do with you incorrectly acting like I was the one bringing up Joe Burrow.
