  1. There's a better version of Mayfield in this draft and it ain't Willis. Willis and Mayfield aren't really comparable at all.
  2. Good grief. Mayfield probably isn't the answer but he's way better than Darnold.
  3. Bruh... you have made dozens and dozens and dozens of accounts and gotten banned over and over and over again.
  4. Trading for Baker would be dumb when there's a better more level headed version of Baker in the draft.
  5. In 7 playoff appearances Jimmy G has averaged 137 passing yards per game and thrown only 4 TDs vs. 6 INTs. Jimmy G sucks, he's just had the good fortune of sucking for some good overall teams.
  6. Yeah, we've been dealing with them a long time. They know we're an organization of morons. Those are gonna be some NICE picks.
  7. The writing has been on the wall for awhile now that he's a bust.
  8. Browns will release Tretter.... to make room for Watson's contract. Panthers fans:
  9. We might be willing to trade him to get a franchise QB. Other than that, I fully expect him to be here and be re-signed.
  10. Every indication I've seen is that Burns is absolutely in our long-term plans. Trading for Watson doesn't do anything for LT.
  11. Why? I'd honestly rather take a shot at a mid-round rookie than give Darnold $5M as a backup. If you're playing Darnold you're already fuged anyway so if you're gonna be fuged it might as well be by someone on a cheap rookie contract with the possibility of developing into something. Darnold is proven certified trash.
  12. I'm not surprised. I mean, just look at what we've been doing organizationally since Tepper took over. He kinda seems hell-bent to de-emphasize or even outright eliminate anything that he deems as legacy Panthers that predates him. Even "Keep Pounding" feels greatly de-emphasized.
  13. There has to be a line somewhere or there's no end to what you're willing to give. That's my line.
  14. It's not just those two dudes. It's a LOT more. You can't trade three 1sts and possibly more draft assets plus your two best young defenders. At some point the cost becomes too much to bear.
  15. Chinn AND Burns is honestly a deal breaker for me given the pick haul. One or the other should be the line in the sand.
  16. Oh please. That would require us to have actually been competitive in the game to the point of leading at the end.
  17. You should've had the guts to post that from your real account.
  18. I think so too. But I don't KNOW so. You better know before you gut your franchise for him. Is he better than Dak? Is Dak worth this type of trade? Eh...
  19. Exactly. He was basically putting up Kirk Cousins type numbers when the Texans we're actually competitive. His one elite stat season came when they went 4-12.
  20. Forget the off-field stuff. Forget the will we or won't we stuff. Real talk... is Watson actually good enough to warrant the type of trade bounty that we're talking about? He's had one great year when his team went 4-12. When the Texans we're actually competitive he was basically being used on a high level game manager type of role. We've never seen Watson in a situation where he's being asked to play like an MVP level QB on a competitive team, yet we're falling all over ourselves to gut the franchise to get him. Is this actually a smart bet from a pure football perspective? I'm not trying to argue that Watson isn't good. He's damn good. But is he top 5 NFL QB good? Nothing I've seen from him makes me confident in saying that. Not with guys like Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Burrow, Wilson, etc., etc. out there. I think you're gutting the franchise for likely the 7th or 8th best QB in the league. Yikes.
  21. Maybe this has been posted I can't keep up with it all, but Houston beat writer John McClain says it's very much a two horse race - us or the Saints. Period.
  22. It's working. 1000%. We just can't see it.
