  1. We like bad QBs. They like good but rapey QBs.
  2. Not talking about Howell. I'm talking about Willis.
  3. We have no 2nd or 3rd round picks this year. We only have one pick in the top 100. Our best draft capital is honestly the rest of the league knowing our picks next year are at the top of the round.
  4. Our draft pick capital sucks. Our cap situation is mediocre. We have a coaching staff that everyone not named David Tepper knows should've been fired. We're the worst situation in the league.
  5. Interesting. Mr. Can't Judge By One Game wants to now judge by one game. Like I said, I knew what I was working with.
  6. Yeah, that's why he was third string at Auburn.
  7. Just wanted to give you a quick reference to go back and look at. I realize what I'm working with here.
  8. Go back and watch Fields dismantle Clemson's defense in the playoffs and then honestly try to tell me Willis has a higher ceiling. Y'all musta forgot.
  9. It would definitely feel like passing on Fields just to draft a poor man's Fields
  10. Sure we are. We love QBs with massive red flags that we wrongly think we can magically fix.
  11. This is zod's thread. He knew what would come of this. I ain't cleaning it up.
  12. Listen, at first I was all about it. I was on the train. I was driving the damn train. I was all up front like Then the accusations started. I was like As soon as he's refusing to play for the Texans and demanding a trade, sexual misconduct accusations start up driven by a lawyer with Texans ownership connections. Way too convenient. It stinks. This is just sabotage from a jilted Texans organization. Then more and more... and more accusations started coming to light. Uh oh. Wait a minute... At this point? Tepper is gonna do whatever he's going to do. My faith in him is virtually nil. My confidence in Rhule is absolutely nil. But if we make this trade, I'm rolling with this guy wherever he lands Hopefully it's not a divisional rival but if it is it'll be a bitter pill to swallow but I'll manage.
  13. This trade would probably leave us as the new Texans. An elite QB surrounded by a straight trash team. We'd see multiple 1st and 2nd round picks along with guys like Moore and Burns heading to Houston.
  14. Get out of that white Bronco and lace 'em up, OJ! Let's go!
  15. Wow. Wonder what Rae Carruth has left in the tank? I mean, if we only care about winning...
  16. It would be morbidly hilarious if after the league forced JR to sell for creeping on some secretaries that Tepper turns around and trades for a QB with dozens of sexual misconduct cases hanging over his head.
  17. It seems like it basically boils down to a he says vs. a bunch of she says. The civil cases seem like they have a lot higher chance of success than a criminal case. It's just going to be very difficult to meet the "beyond a reasonable doubt" benchmark without some evidence beyond accuser testimony. That's not victim shaming, that's just reality. It won't shock me if the prosecutor intentionally puts forth a terribly weak case to the grand jury to avoid getting an indictment and then being able to tell people and the media that "aw shucks, I tried" and move on. Prosecutors don't doggedly pursue cases they aren't very confident they can win.
  18. Trades for Watson have been "at the finish line" dozens of times and yet nothing has actually happened yet.
  19. If I was him I would. Like now. They're doing a total teardown. What does a 70 year old want with that? Unless they're planning on some addition big moves to bring in talent with all that capital they got from dealing Wilson. Watson is really the only thing that makes sense.
  20. Oh wee mayne. Imagine trading Cam and releasing Luke in the same off-season. That's what Seahawks fans are going through right now. fug 'em, but still... yikes.
