  1. Brady's arm at 44 is still much better than Jones' arm now. That's the part everyone seems to be forgetting. Brady wasn't Josh Allen or prime Cam in terms of arm strength, but his arm was always decent. Jones' is subpar. Just no way around it.
  2. I said pre-draft that I thought his ceiling was a Jared Goff/Kirk Cousins type and I've seen nothing to convince me otherwise.
  3. Good game. Really feels like the Bengals should've won a lot more comfortably.
  4. I just hope to get decent moisture out of this. Damn it's been a dry ass winter. My little creek is barely trickling.
  5. Folks, the NOAA is all the way out. Not just on snow but moisture content in general. This thing must be falling apart.
  6. I'm not certain I trust Neal at LT. I think I might take Cross and/or the NCSU kid over him. But honestly I haven't watched a ton of any if them. We've needed a LT for the majority of the past 12 years but until we get a QB and a HC, not much is going to excite me. Put prime Jonathan Ogden on the field next year with Darnold at QB and Rhule and whatever scrub he puts at OC on the sidelines and we're still picking top 5.
  7. I agree on needing to make the call. I disagree with his call. Christensen has OT quickness. He doesn't have OG raw power. His lack of strength will be a bigger hindrance inside going against DTs than it is outside going against edge rushers. He has OT skills and quickness with OG build. Skills and quickness are a lot more important than build.
  8. The long ass ref conferences are ridiculous and seem to be getting increasingly common. Jesus, Boger's crew is always terrible. First the inadvertant whistle. Now this post-play timeout allowed after a big gainer and what should've been roughing the passer. Clown show.
  9. I figured that long term NFL fans would've learned to never speak in absolutes regarding the draft.
  10. Strength is going to be a bigger burden for him inside at OG routinely facing DTs than it will be for him at LT routinely facing edge rushers.
  11. NFL S&C is a lot different than BYU. Well, it is in most NFL organizations. We probably have some jackass from Temple running ours.
  12. Strength is the easiest thing to add at the NFL level. Not much you can do if you're not quick enough though.
  13. I agree. And if Christensen is your LT, I think #6 is down to two choices. QB or auction block. Take a QB or trade down.
  14. That whistle had no impact on that TD. The ball was basically on the receiver when it was blown. WOW. Big time answer by the Raiders. In a half that it feels like the Bengals dominated, the scoreboard is going to look a lot closer. Raiders gotta be feeling decent heading to the lockers.
  15. Damn. That was baller. The elite guys can do exactly what you coach them NOT to do and pull it off. Running out of bounds and throwing both across your body AND across the field? Wow.
  16. Yeah it was. High risk, high reward. Worked out for them but could've easily gotten blown up. You're brilliant when it works, a moron when it doesn't. They're brilliant this time.
  17. Well, that throw was nowhere near as good. A tad deeper and that might have been 6.
  18. The Raiders' D is keeping them alive. This game could easily be out of hand already.
  19. If receivers can get away with that defense covering becomes impossible.
  20. The Raiders are really struggling to slow down this Bengals pass rush.
  21. Wow. What a fugin moron. *both Robby and that Raiders kickoff returner
