They're sofa king good. Used to eat them every time I was up there at the now defunct Humpy's in downtown Anchorage. God that was a great bar.

God I love raw oysters. Best I've ever had are consistently up in Alaska out of Kachemak Bay Something about that COLD water.

Mom was adamant about doing all the cooking this year. I finally let her allow me to at least do some mac and cheese. Just plain mac and cheese she said. Listen, don't tell me my business. You KNOW when you tell me to bring something that poo gonna be extra. Probably gonna grab a turkey on clearance and smoke a turkey injected with a Cajun honey butter concoction this weekend while helping the wife with Christmas decorations.

Pot Roast ripping into Defense on sidelines Sunday

This is reminiscent of when a fighter's corner is screaming random things at their fighter like "get up!" or "you gotta do something!" with no specific technical instruction. You're not adding anything more than random fan could add. -
That's basically what I said about him coming out. He's Cam but significantly worse at passing and nowhere near the runner. Props to him and that staff.

I whiffed on Herbert due to that bullshit Oregon system. I always said that if it's the system holding him back he has all the tools to be great, I just didn't want him because there was no way to project him to the NFL based on that bullshit one read passing system. My big whiff was Josh Allen. I didn't see any chance for him to be successful in the NFL. The strides he made as a lure passer from college are nearly unparalleled.

Hey, I could be wrong. Every year there are teams that get it wrong on QBs in the draft. It's an inexact science at absolute very best.
-
Agreed. If his shoulder holds up down the stretch we have to bring him back. Even if we plan on drafting a QB in the 1st.
-
Last year I told everyone I wouldn't draft Dyami Brown because he's basically Ted Ginn Jr. 2.0.

No ones talking about our next game....

Awful year one, mediocre year two, ready to legit compete year three. That's always been his pattern. The problem is that thusfar I'm not seeing the pattern of progression from last year to this year and the in game coaching honestly seems worse and so does the team discipline. The arrow is pointing down IMO. Last year it felt like the talent level was holding back the coaching staff. This year it feels like the coaching staff is holding back the talent level. -

It's just a little daunting and scary to be honest. We all know if we lose to Miami this week, it's over. It's draft talk time. -
Hey, I've always been very fair in my assessments of UNC players. I'll say it when I think our guys are good college players who won't make the transition. Howell is just gonna be a stud, that's all.

The offense has been much better since bringing Cam back. Honestly, our rush D is our biggest weakness since then. It's okay man. The team isn't perfect. Some criticism is okay. I mean, we're 5-6. Clearly there's some aspects of the team that need improvement. We're 19th in average tugging yards allowed per game. We're 24th in actual rushing yards allowed.
-
We're 24th in the league in rushing yards allowed. It's clearly a problem.
-
That's approaching 30% of the time though. Even if you win your division you're going to have to win three games against playoff caliber teams. Odds are pretty decent one of those teams is going to curb stomp you in the trenches. It needs to get addressed in the off-season.
-
He has literally been one of the statistically best deep WRs in the league for most of his career. Pretending he's not a deep threat is just not accepting reality.
-
I think when Darnold sucked and our OL was a mess than Rhule let Brady know that he wanted a more run based approach. Makes sense. But Brady handcuffed his offense so much that it's no longer really his offense. Hopefully we start to see things get opened back next week as Cam gets more comfortable. I think there may be a bit of miscommunication going on right now. Rhule wanting to be more run heavy but still aggressive in the passing game while Brady is basically hearing "go conservative". I don't know, just spitballin'.
-
I think that's why Rhule is getting frustrated. I think that's what he wants. I agree with mixing more of it in, just wanna give people a heads up before they start screaming to go all in on that, that's basically asking for Shula back.
-
Do you have a disagreement to voice or do you just want everyone to know that you're triggered?
-
It seems like Rhule wants a run heavy offense and play action deep shots. Remember Shula?
-
Robby Anderson was considered a one trick pony as a deep threat when we initially brought him in.

Listen, I'm not saying to just trade Burns for anything. I'm just saying that unless we're willing to evolve the D into a true 3-4 front with the appropriate DL in front of them, Reddick and Burns are redundant so if you extend Reddick like I think we should you have to entertain offers for Burns. If the right offer is there, take it. If not, keep them both but also focus on bringing in some more beef at DE for the rotation.
-
They flip flop. Reddick and Fox were the only two front seven defenders who showed up on Sunday IMO.
-
They ran off left tackle all day long on Sunday. I bet they averaged close to 10ypc running off left tackle.
-
Burns is part of the issue why we struggle against power running schemes. Yeah, he could develop into greatness but unless we're going to transition to a full bore 3-4 scheme and go get true 3-4 DL, he and Reddick are redundant. For that matter, so is Haynes. We really only have two base 4-3 ends in Fox and Gross-Matos. The rest of our DEs are 3-4 OLBs. It's not a coincidence that teams can line up heavy and cram the ball down our throat.
