  1. All options should be on the table. Always. I never loved Gettleman's probably ego driven stunt of running the pick up immediately to show everyone how confident you are of your decision. If the phone is ringing I'm listening. Yeah, you may really like a prospect available but someone on the other end of the line might like someone available to the point that they're willing to do something stupid to get him. Now granted, working against us is the reality that our owner is the poster child for that person on the other end of the line but that aside, yeah we should always listen if offers are coming in and there's time on the clock to hear them.
  2. They were running late this year. They just came in just now. I was having a beer on the deck and they splashed down.
  3. OP is just a massive hypocrite who wants to cry about people attacking him personally when the entire premise of his thread was rooted in personal attack of a prospect and his family who I personally don't care for either. This crap of doing a thing and then crying about it done to you is just the most passive aggressive beta poo on the internet.

  5. The guy starting a thread on the premise of a trolling nickname now accusing others of trolling. Amazing. My point was you could've taken your inflammatory crap out and had a good productive thread but per usual you just want to bait a fight and then play victim when you get what you wanted.
  6. Im trying to prove that you're a poor and pugnacious communicator but you're doing a more effective job of that than me so thanks. LOL
  7. You posted an opinion to in your own words "start a thread" of discussion on a public forum, so yeah kinda. I'm not criticizing your personally. I'm just saying that when you type in an obviously intentional inflammatory way you're pretty much derailing your own thread right from the jump. Why?
  8. The hang up and repeating ad nauseum of the $$ thing didn't help your post.
  9. He's transferred once and he's 20 years old. DJU transferred what felt like a dozen times and felt like he was collecting Social Security checks while playing college ball.
  10. He does but he has gobs of talent. Go a of talent usually gets you drafted high. Somebody is gonna jump on that Shemar Stewart grenade this year.
  11. Oh, he's gonna get his money. He's an elite college QB talent. Very well may prove to be an elite NFL QB prospect. Someone is gonna pony up and it won't be surprising if a straight up bidding war breaks out. This might be the circus that's needed to make them do something rein this stuff in because it's just going to keep getting dumber.
  12. Now we have college players doing training camp holdouts. Jay Bilas is right. They're going to have to move to signing these kids to contracts with negotiated buyouts just like they do for coaches.
  13. I'd rather have Jalon Walker but given what Philly has done spam drafting UGA DL I wouldn't do a lot of complaining about the pick. I would've taken Xavier Watts at #57. FS is still a massive hole.
  14. I'm gonna lock this one. There was pages up on pages of spats about this when that video first came out. We don't need a replay of that. I know you were away for awhile so it get that you likely missed that poo show. LOL
  15. 20 years since they've had a losing season...
  16. Yeah, they thought that about Bryce too. Just because a guy is mentally ready doesn't mean he's ready if the playing style isn't plug and play also. Some of these guys have to relearn how to play the game at the NFL level in terms of what they're physically capable of. That's true to some degree with everyone but it's more true of guy's whose physical talent isn't top tier.
  17. I think Sanders is very limited in his NFL projection. The way he played in college with his skill set does not translate. I'm not sure he's as plug and play as people think. You have rewire him in terms of how he sees the field and what he's physically capable of doing against NFL competition. Late last season gives us hope that Bryce has maybe done that but we had to endure a lot of ugly football to get that glimpse of hope. Playing Sanders early goes similarly IMO. They'd basically be drafting a slower, weaker armed Russell Wilson. How does that work out with lesser physical talent?
  18. Staying put and drafting Jaxson Dart feels like much more of a Steelers move than trading into the top 10 to draft Sanders. Drafting Kenny Pickett #20 was a mistake but it wasn't the major setback that trading into the top 10 to draft Kenny Pickett would've been.
  19. It's difficult for me to buy an organization as historically well ran as the Steelers doing something this colossally stupid unless somehow David Tepper has shadow purchased the organization.
  20. He had 25 tackles in the fuging Super Bowl and played like a kamikaze pilot. Dan Morgan was fun as hell to watch as a player.
  21. Being forced to manage the finances of the organization in franchise mode fuging sucks. I don't care about ticket prices, concessions, merch, etc. I just want to play GM and coach. But I have tons of cap spade and I can't use it because the team isn't generating a profit. I don't care. Let me turn that poo off and just go GM mode. Previous editions I could.
  22. I'm not even being a Homer when I say that Greg is a way better announcer than Brady.
  23. He's a special teamer and he should fire his agent if he truly had 17 teams vying for his services and he signed that contract. Me thinks that the 17 teams might have been a wee bit of a stretch. LOL That deal was probably the 2025 veteran minimum for a player with five years of NFL experience. You're telling me you had 17 teams putting offers on paper and you couldn't get any of them to move off of vet min? Fired.
