I've never said never. I've said that I've never seen a guy who has looked that bad ultimately pan out. I have said in the past and continue to say that you have Corral on the roster on a cheap rookie contract so absolutely give him an opportunity to compete. But you build your roster as if he isn't there. If he pans our, awesome! If he doesn't, well you've already planned for that anyway. I say this because I think the odds are extraordinarily low that he pans out.

How's Kyle Trask doing? Last I heard he still couldn't learn a playbook. That was the last guy you rode this hard on. I see you didn't learn anything from it.

Hilariously adhering to bad ideas doesn't make you brave. It makes you stubborn and egotistical at best, but probably just low IQ and stricken with Dunning Kruger. I've never seen a player look as bad and out of place on an NFL field as Corral did and ultimately pan out. And that was in preseason against guys who generally weren't making final rosters.

I thought Corral was the #2 QB available myself. Looks like I was wrong. That's the difference between me and you. I'll admit being wrong and not hilariously cling to bad ideas.

It was interesting watching their relationship with Jimmy G sour so quickly at the end. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it eventually comes out that Jimmy G was healthy enough to be active during that NFC CG and the Niners staff and brass had simply already made up their minds to move on so they didn't activate him. If that happens... oh wee mayne.

Who? The writers for NFL.com? LOL!

I hope not, but probably. Then again, if Reich continues to call his own offensive plays the OC hire is going to be a lot less crucial than it usually is.

Why would you need to tell them something they already know? Should we tell them that the sky is blue or that water is wet too?

I wish there were folks in our building who could've reached through the mental fog to get to Tepper as he was falling in love with Matt Rhule with the backdrop of Marty Hurney shoveling meatballs down his throat.

That Dallas offense was a machine when Dak wasn't throwing the ball to the other team. I think Emmitt has it wrong here. Sometimes Dak threw the damn ball just to throw the ball. He wasn't considering what color jersey that guy was wearing.

I'm gonna start watching but honestly if the officiating is as bad and seemingly biased as it was in the conference championship games I'm gonna tap out.

Yeah, we weren't good Cam's rookie year but you could see where things were going. We were competitive, the games were exciting to watch. It was very clear that we had a lot of reason for hope. I want that again.
-
Yeah, we all are. Well, except for the folks still clinging to Sam Darnold potentially being the answer. Evidently they enjoy the losing.

It's not the age as much as it is the years of experience and maturity level. He has a lot of experience. He should be more mentally and emotionally mature at 23, soon to be 24 than the average college kid. It all adds up to say that he should be far further along in his development process than he is. That's what I mean when bringing up his age.

We'll see. Blue bloods are judged by March.

As a Carolina fan I obviously despise Duke, but yeah that was some bullshit.
-
And he's older than the vast majority of draft prospects. I'd feel differently about him if he was a redshirt sophomore but this guy shouldn't be so raw at this stage.

Don't do it. Look at the two teams that traded king's ransoms for QBs then proceeded to give them massive contracts to boot this past off-season. They suck and they have limited resources available to change that.

Yeah, I think Bacot is a long shot in the NBA but I think he has a chance. I hope Hubert that Hubert will develop that part of his coaching. We'll see.
-
This. Fitts turned down the best picks package we were gonna get for him. If he's moved at this point it's to go get a QB.
-
Bacot isn't a floor stretcher on offense like an NBA 4 needs to be and he lacks ideal height/length for a 5 and he's a subpar NBA athlete either way. Do I think he can play in the NBA anyway? Honestly, yeah I think he has a chance. Anyone who can rebound like he can does. Yeah, you don't wanna be the guy who follows the guy. We'll see how it goes for Hubert. I'm rooting for him. But he has to start getting more committed to developing depth. You just can't rely on riding five guys constantly. I think it's a big reason why we're so hot and cold as a team. Usually when you're cold you look to your depth to provide a spark and turn the tide. We don't. There's nowhere to look for that spark.
