  1. Hell, I'm kinda done judging a QB by his system. Herbert played in a damn HS offense at Oregon. I let that fool me into thinking he wasn't capable of more.
  2. Ah shucks, we'll get 'em next year gets you our Carolina Panthers.
  3. The NFL is rapidly turning into a "gamble big to win big NOW" league. Hell, I sure wish we'd done it during Cam's prime. Even though I wasn't a fan of him coming into the draft, in hindsight I wish we'd let crazy Marty mortgage the future on swinging big on a trade to land Herbert.
  4. I honestly don't see it. I think they're very similar in terms of prospects. I'm not big on either, but I can't see making an honest argument for one being vastly superior to the other as a prospect.
  5. How is Trey Lance a better prospect than Willis?
  6. I'm betting a QB goes ahead of us simply because every team in the league knows we're desperate for a QB. I have to think that the overall league sentiment is that if you want your choice of the QBs, #5 is your logical target landing spot.
  7. The Steelers have absolutely been all over him all year long.
  8. I honestly think this isn't all that accurate and a lot of it is because there isn't a slam dunk top prospect among them and this class is right on the heels of last year's very strong on paper class. I mean, folks... the reality is that Trevor Lawrence and Andrew Luck type prospects are a rarity. That's why they're considered "once in a decade" type prospects. IMO, this is a fairly typical QB class. Some good, but not perfect on paper prospects.
  9. Yeah, in a world where Lamar Jackson exists I have to STRONGLY disagree with that assessment.
  10. Why would you make any picks for picks trades in the weeks leading up to the draft before seeing who's available? This is honestly baffling.
  11. I've just seen him get ran down from behind by random small program LBs too many times to believe any 4.3 talk. You don't see guys with that type of speed playing Liberty's opponents getting caught from behind hardly ever. Do you really think if he was could run a really impressive time he wouldn't do it?
  12. He's not as fast as those guys either. Taylor runs a 4.39 though. I'm betting if he ran Willis is a mid-4.5s type guy. Chubb has insane strength and explosiveness. He benched like an OL and had a nearly 40" vertical. Both of those guys have some pretty freaky tools.
  13. I bet Teddy Bridgewater's breakdown looked just like this coming out of Louisville.
  14. Yeah, it was Cam's physicality and underrated agility much more so than pure speed that made him so effective as a runner.
  15. As for Willis, I think he is a good runner. Nothing close to Vick or Lamar. Basically a Cam style runner but a LOT smaller. Not sure how that's gonna work out. I think he has similar speed to Cam.
  16. Yes, since 2020. Howell was literally told by the staff NOT to run prior to this season because they didn't have a backup on the roster they felt comfortable with.
  17. I ain't a bit nervous. This is the most house money national championship game ever. We've been playing with house money since beating Baylor in the 2nd round. The only stress was having to face duke.
  18. Howell #2 on the list and practically never ran prior to this year.
  19. On that last duke FT miss, Manek damn near boxed Banchero out and completely off the court. Manek wasn't even going for the ball. His sole role on that FT attempt was to make sure Banchero didn't get the rebound and he did it. That dude was NOT getting that rebound.
  20. Oh, I could absolutely see Rhule getting a 4th year with a decently promising rookie QB and 8 win season. Tepper really doesn't want to have to swallow the bitter pill that the college coach he went all in on is a bust.
