  1. The guy has no intention of an honest conversation. Just FYI.
  2. If they were actually good at it they'd be in NFL front offices.
  3. He did. Then he let his buddy run the offense how he wanted and we all saw how that worked out.
  4. Yep. Don't try to Hurney your way out of bad contracts by making them worse.
  5. I honestly think non-ACC fans struggle to comprehend just how bad UNC's OL play was this year.
  6. Marion is blackout drunk on Busch Light and Fireball and is trying to fight Morganton for outgrowing their raisin'. Morganton is drinking local craft beer and thinking, "Damn, I used to be Marion and he's about to fug around and find out there's still a lot of redneck behind this yuppie beer and hipster beard." Lenoir is nodding off in the corner strung out on fentanyl laced heroin. Everyone there is just tired of Granite Falls telling them that's where Eric Church is from. Hickory is that 25 year old former HS jock who still hangs out at HS parties. Gastonia just walked in, it's Fred Durst.
  7. This. If I can stay in Buffalo with Josh Allen that's what I'm doing.
  8. Daboll had always been pretty awful in several stints as an OC pre-Allen. Had a team hired Mike Shula as their HC in 2016 some fanbase somewhere would've been really excited. Luckily for the other 31 fanbases it seems like everyone in the other front offices recognized that our offense was Cam.
  9. So you're telling me we're gonna trade for Watson, hire this guy, and Tepper is gonna start wearing his brass balls around his neck on a chain Flava Flav style?
  10. Rhule interfered and wanted a more run focused offense. Brady was no longer running his offense. He was trying to call the offense as Rhule wanted it. Don't be shocked if he lands somewhere with a good young QB and has wildly different results.
  11. Meanwhile, the painful reality is that as soon as he was gone the offense turned into something that is usually seen on Friday nights. Calling it a college offense would be an insult to college offense. We were straight up running a HS offense.
  12. So basically he was a real shithead back in his younger days. Seems like he's either out that behind him or gotten smart enough with it that he can at least avoid run-ins with the law.
  13. Joe Brady's future in football is likely a lot brighter than Matt Rhule's. He was the sacrificial lamb for Tepper's man crush.
  14. @Catsfan69 have you literally ever made a constructive post that has actually added to a conversation? Your entire posting persona is that of a stereotypical grumpy old boomer.
  15. I can't say. IMO, his entire draft status hinges on the things I can't know. How he interviews and does on the whiteboard with concepts being thrown at him is his everything. It's Herbert all over again. The physical tools are there. All the questions are about mentally transitioning to an NFL offense.
  16. Definitely. If he has it between the ears and lands in the right situation he could be great. We ain't that situation though.
  17. Say what? He has a Liberty QB #1 and QBs from the likes of Western Kentucky, Alabama A&M, Western Michigan, Nevada, Brown, Kent State, and Prairie View A&M account for half his list.
  18. In what universe has Darnold ever been an "average starter"? Darnold is one of the statistically worst starting QBs in recent memory. And as much as I love Cam, his days as a starting QB are sadly over.
  19. I agree that Willis doesn't look like he has Vick speed. Or Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray speed for that matter. I do think he's faster than McNabb though. He looks to have Cam like speed to me. Which is still damn fast but there's a big difference between being 6'5" 260 with 4.5 speed and being 6'1" 215 with 4.5 speed. The former is rare. The latter is average NFL athleticism (looking at the league as a whole, obviously still very good athleticism at the QB position). I know Willis supposedly ran 4.37 at Auburn, but those college times are almost always greatly exaggerated.
  20. Quietly, one of the biggest losses for UNC was Beau Corrales. He's not an NFL prospect, but he is a darn good college possession receiver who was expected to be able to keep us from being a one man receiving crew until we could develop some youth. Instead, he got injured and left us with a damn good WR in Josh Downs but nothing outside of not yet ready youth beyond him.
  21. Playing Madden franchise mode this makes all the sense in the world. In reality, this is about as tough of a position change as imaginable. You're not only asking Christensen to transition from playing outside at OT to inside at OG, you're also asking him to transition from playing on the left side of the OL to playing on the right. That's nowhere near the slam dunk that this article pretends it to be.
  22. The big problem with Van Dyke is just about the biggest possible problem. He isn't draft eligible.
  23. You might be right except for the reality that when he played he was clearly our best LT option and Rhule and company still made every effort not to continue playing him at LT despite this.
