Shanahan blew the game in regulation. He passed when he should have stuck with the run game. Terrible clock management.

I here "it's a deep qb class" nearly every draft season. The truth is that there is really only 1 that has a real chance of making it in the nfl each year, if that. Talent will only get you so far in this league. Coaching and system has a lot to do with player success. The Panthers missed on all 3 last season.

I know, right.
I'm not going to give him a cookie for listing our obvious failures, wrapping it up, tying a bow on it and presenting it as a thread. I'm also not going to cuss @MHS831 out for listing our obvious failures because I appreciate him as a Huddler, so...I can't do anything with this...
I will consider this his way of coming to terms with how bad the situation is.

Smart move. Hope it's not for a Hurney level contract but he is a baller.

Is that article just deep sarcasm? Haha.
That's what I was thinking as I read it. How can anyone look at the Panthers drafts and overall record and say that the analytics was responsible the success? SUCCESS?

If all that is true, which seems like speculation to me, but if its true it tells me that the org knows that bryce at aint. Maybe we do move on in a year.
I think everyone can see that at this point. They will have to move on if there's no improvement from him. It will all depend on Teppers involvement, or lack thereof. If it's left up to the coach and GM to decide? I would say it's certain they will if Young doesn't show something, whether he gets enough help or not.

The huddle was making comparisons to Drew Brees, but this guy does it and he is a genius!
This smells like a scapegoat to me. Although definitely well deserved if this guy was truly calling the shots.

So the reason we suck so bad is we rely solely on analytics to make team decisions? Makes perfect sense now.

Odd to distinguish between different media platforms for wasting time on.
You missed the point entirely then if you thought it was about social media.

Ain't nobody white knighting anything - some of us just get tired of trolls always ruining an interesting topic with your crying and complaining. Trust me it isn't serious....just wish yall would participate in conversations like fans instead of being so childish

Except you have no idea how much time he is spending doing what you want him to do - and there is almost nothing he can do right now that you are able to see progress on so you have no way of knowing - yet you are digging the guy for fun cause that's what you do on the internet.
OR - hear me out - we can take a more positive view and be proud that our new HC is on Twitter that late at night defending our team - something no one else has ever done - and stop crying about every single thing that happens in regard to this team and twisting it negative. Just as a crazy side option
Or - hear me out - you could not take my comment so seriously that you feel the need to white night for a coach that just got here and has done nothing to deserve it.

I know right? 10:55pm and he is on X instead of working? What a loser....
I mean, he does have a lot of crap to clean up. It is like when I try to get my son to clean his room, but all he wants to do is chat on Twitter or whatever social media app he happens to be on whenever he gets the chance. The room is still full of crap.

How could you guys forget the immortal John Kasey? Or that roided up punter we had, what's his name...sourer buns or something like that?

He should focus more on not having the worst team in the nfl and less on social media.

True. But if you live out in the sticks like I do you will only get PBS. Every other station is iffy.

Spotrac says we are at $32M - the number I heard was closer to $28.5M - and we are ranked 11th in the league, so we aren't that bad off in those terms. Also according to Spotrac we can clear an additional $20M if we restructure the 7 available putting us around $50M. Cutting Thomas is $2.2M, cutting Donte is almost $6M.
If we do just the restructures we would still have around $29M - but keep in mind we also have the resign or replace Luvu, Franklin, Henderson, Gross-Matos, Haynes, Grugier-Hill, Chinn, Shenault, ISM - AND rookies which won't be too bad since we have no 1st rd pick.
But yeah this is gonna take a few years boys.
No more restructuring contracts! It's time to knuckle up and get this right. There's only 2 players that deserve new contracts and I don't need to tell you who they are. Let the rest walk if there's no buyer and cut your losses.

We need high draft picks in every round and will need as many of them as they can get. They will earn them naturally as long as they face the reality that this team is not a win now team. They are not just 1 or 2 players away from the playoffs. They are 40 to 50 players away and should operate as such.
