I dont want to trade any of our core guys, and if we could retain everyone offensively and add Watson, that will put us way ahead of the game... but, if we were forced, and as talented as CMC is, at the end of the day, he's a RB, and you can find ways go replace that production a lot easier than you can at Burns or Moore's spot.
You don't think the Texans will think of that? CMC and 2 firsts will get you laughed at.

Exactly. Nothing to see here. If we trade for Watson I will personally lop off my penis.
That probably would not be my first reaction but to each his own.

You guys would be terrible poker players.
On an unrelated note, does anyone think David Tepper looks an awful lot like Thanos? Has anyone seen Thanos lately?

Unfortunately for Deshaun the team would have to give up most of those weapons to get him here.

Finally we have someone in charge who's one of the best at what he does.
Come-on! Hurney was the best ass kisser in the business.

Trust is gone for now. I am happy and excited to watch them prove it tho. It's easy with a GM, he is already on the clock and we don't have to sit around picking apart coach speak to guess which way anything is going.
As the late great Al Davis would say, just win baby. That's all I care about. I couldn't give two sh*ts how they do it.

Any team that won a SB in the last 5 years is technically better. I get it, wins do matter. The goal is still a SB and they have not been since 2014. That's a failure, better than us since 2016 but still not all world.
Teams have tried to copy or steal from NE, the best hands down, and they keep failing. Vrabel is doing well but still not lights out in Tenn but the rest are flame outs.
Making the playoffs isn't the point, it's an achievement not the goal. Winning the playoffs is. We have different goals we would like to see apparently. I like they guy so far but I do have concerns...he is going to have to prove it and I am happy to see him try. Why that is such an issue to others I just don't understand.
To win Superbowls you have to consistently win your conference. To consistently win your conference you have to consistently make the playoffs. So the goal is to consistently have a winning team. The rest will come if the first goal is accomplished. Trust the process.

So.....any of the "Opening Day Starter" guys want to change their mind after the Tepper, Fitterer and Rhule press conferences?
I think it went for mostly likely to not very good at the moment.

I can see that the Hurney apologists are turning their noses up to the idea of being a consistent winner like Seattle. I guess consistently drafting in the top half of the draft puts more wins in the bank and fans in the seats.

TE/DE?
Well definitely need a TE and could use some depth at DE so maybe we get one or the other out of him? I got nothing.

I'd say more like a Clausen wannabe.

Expect the bottom of our roster to be churned like butter. They'll want to keep cycling and shirting through trash until they find someone overlooked.
The only free agent deal I want done is you know who.
Well if you get your wish I doubt they will be able to do any free agent deals for a while. Better hit one those draft picks.

I would feel much better about this if @SCPsigned off on him.

I won't be surprised, but Jones has limitations when considering the modern NFL franchise QB.
I think that is premature to assume. Each of these guys will sink or swim mostly by their own desire to be good or be paid. Finding that guy you can develop to be as good as he is capable of being and keeping him that takes someone who knows what he's doing. No matter who the draft, trade for or pick up off the street I feel better about our chances of getting better at the position because we are not using our gut to pick them.

I'm honestly expecting Teddy to be cut or traded at this point. Some of the subliminal and even pretty obvious shots he's getting from leadership don't exactly make for a friendly environment next year. A pissed off lame duck QB may not be too thrilled about mentoring a rookie QB who's replacing him.
Do you honestly want Teddy mentoring a rookie QB? He takes no responsibility for his mistakes and is a terrible decision maker on the field. Not sure what he has to offer anyone at this point. He did this to himself.

I was probably about 8 to 10 years old. The dog was a small to medium sized breed.
I was running home and decided to run between their house and another. Dog was sitting on a porch. As I ran past him, he jumped off the porch and latched onto my ass with his teeth.
Held on for a few seconds too. When I kicked it into a higher gear, he let go and I ran home crying.
To top it all off, my mom got mad about it, called the neighbor over and pulled down my pants to show them the bite marks on my bare ass.
Not exactly the best day of my life...
Stop, I can't breathe. Thanks for sharing that.

Well if the Seattle model and the New England model isn't good enough then who the hell is? I mean they sure the hell win a lot to suck so bad at drafting.
