Most of what I read were concerns about his size in relation to durability. I probably read “if Bryce was 6’2” he be the perfect prospect” several times. Arm seemed to be mentioned as “good enough” by most.
Hey if he busts maybe we overcorrect and draft a 6’8” QB with an absolute cannon?

Bryce has a range of 55 yards. I watched his pro day and counted the air yards on his deep throws. That's if he steps into it. Now his accuracy on those deep throws were hit and miss. But he can throw a ball 55 yards in the air, if he steps into it. Stroud threw his 10 yards more and Richardson throw for about 2 or 3 more than Stroud.  It is what it is.

    Wonder what happened to him/her?

Probably got insulted by some idiot in here and said "peace out mtfr's". A large contingent around here wants to shout down anyone who might actually hear things because why? Who the hell knows. Anyway, take what I said with a grain of salt. I listen to their posts and take it for what it is. Doesn't mean it's 100% accurate all the time but I respect it.

It bothers me that we have no LBs on this list---we have NO Depth there.  IMO, we take a RB here when would should be drafting a LB.  But with so many needs, it is difficult to cover all bases.

I would bet money that only 2 of the Panthers draft picks this year work out for them, if they're lucky.  So anyone thinking the team will get more than 1 starter has their expectations way too high.

Yeah, but it’s not fair expectations to draft a C and expect him to be NFL average out the gate though.  Especially, if it’s not some top tier first round prospect.

If I'm not mistaken Ryan Kalil started right away. If not, it was only a couple of games into his rookie season. It can happen with the right pick at center.

I'm curious to see if there will be a few waiver wire additions this year. We fund ourselves at the front of the line so might as well take advantage of it since we're here.

Sure, I wish in addition to picking the right QB we had given Burns instead of Moore, but offensive pieces are a lot easier to find than the QB. You gotta do what you gotta do to get that piece.

How did they do in finding those offensive pieces last year? Just admit this team was in no shape or form ready to do what they did last offseason. They will not be ready next year either. If they are not picking in the top 5 just move on to another position or take whatever is available.

Sometimes you have to. You just gotta pick the right one. The trade up to 1 wasn’t the problem imo. If we had taken Stroud we’d be sitting pretty.

It was still a bad trade. We gave up our entire offense prior to doing so. You don't do that if you're going all in for a qb. It was and still is a dumb idea.

Why all this “has to be picks this year” sentiment? Giants will surely be picking high again next year, so that second will still be high. Assuming around the same as the 39 they gave us this year. We still get a pick in the second this year from them (47). It’s not like we’d have to wait long for our next pick (39).

We’re not in win now mode, two seconds will help more than one second, even if it is six picks earlier than our first second this year would be after the trade. I’d rather have their second next year than their third this year, it’s a better pick and will assumably turn into a better player. That’s what we need long term, not more bodies this year.

We may also need that second rd pick next year to trade up high enough for our new QB next year if we’re still bad but not quite as bad as this year. If we’re picking at 7 or 8 next year, we’d probably need to trade up for a QB. That’s far more important than whatever we could get in the third this year.

No more trading up for a qb. fug that noise. That's what got us in this mess to begin with.

Let me dial back the miserable by nature comment. Sitting in an airport watching my flight get delayed and feeling ornery.

I gave you some pie merely for the fact you are stuck at the airport.  You have my sympathy my friend.

But you post was spot on so I pied it as well. I'm still chuckling as I write this.
