  1. He's got to learn how to be more in control when he drives. The scouting report is out on him and teams have started baiting him into those offensive fouls.
  2. Al getting his lunch money taken early.
  3. He would try! An improvement!
  4. RIP to our front line against Boogie without Cody. That said, as long as you don't let anybody else get going, this is a win. Assign MKG to Rudy and go from there.
  5. Gettleman lays out the plan for the offseason Fans set their expectations too high Gettleman follows through with the plan Fans get upset, complain You're right. Same poo, different year. This "same poo" got us back to back playoff berths and allowed us to sit back on this board and watch the Saints and Niners crash and burn this offseason knowing we've already got a nice core of young players thanks to two solid drafts with another class on the way.
  6. They targeted KB last year. Had we not taken him before they picked...
  7. Glazer saying it's a done deal. This offseason gets better and better!
  8. "The game has been and always will be about buckets."
  9. It should also be noted that MKG and Gerald are finally starting to knockdown the open jumpers that the defense gives them, which helps assist numbers and opens the offense. The upgrade in offensive production from the wings has been what has keyed this nice stretch just as much if not more than Mo. You can argue that Mo is creating better opportunities for them but 95% of the Hendo hate came from the fact he couldn't hit any open three anywhere on the court regardless of the defense and at least now you have to respect him from the corner. We all know MKG's story.
  10. Before Kemba got injured he was definitely living up to it. He finally has a backup point guard that plays like he does and can embrace the mentor role. An offseason with Mo (if we resign him) will work wonders for Kemba. Also, if you don't pay him, someone else will in RFA. That forces you to match or overpay for 33 year old Mo Williams' two months of production. If you move on from both, you're stuck drafting mid-first round with Brian Roberts as the backup which sets the guard situation back to 2011. The cap sheet is structured to where one contract isn't going to ruin potential spending in the offseason, especially since Al and Gerald are probably opting out. Kembas deal is fine given the market and his age.
  11. Mo being Mo Lance being Lance Al being Al Only negative is MKG had difficulty slowing down DeRozan but team defense limited everybody else. Very nice win, just need to keep it going.
  12. This would be a heck of a playoff series.
  13. Lol Crawford always has to draw attention to himself.
  14. James Johnson has been to Toronto what we thought Lance would be here.
  15. Joey Crawford AND Lauren Holtkamp on the same crew???
  16. They haven't screwed up the Westbrook/Durant combo yet but you know it's only a matter of time. Also shout out to the Pelicans for drafting Anthony Davis and hurrying their rebuild too fast and capping themselves out just short of the West playoffs every season.
  17. Depends on a ton of factors. All things being equal, LeBron. But, based on contract, age, etc. right now, it's easily Anthony Davis. 21 years old only in his third year and he's already on this list.
  18. I could easily see PJ getting traded in the offseason along with obvious candidates. The roster this offseason could be in a major flux, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. That's what a rebuilding squad does, we just happen to be in a conference bad enough that rebuilding teams can make the playoffs.
  19. I...I don't even know where to begin with this... Let's just agree to disagree and move on...
  20. It really depends on how you define "core" players. IMO, it's the guys that are either untouchable or would need a blockbuster deal to trade away, and right now that only guy is MKG, who has unquestionably been the team's most important player. No one else on the roster can affect the game like he can, and I don't see any "star" power on the roster outside of MKG and maybe Kemba if he can knock down shots consistently and do so without wearing himself out. The rest I could definitely see being moved in the coming years especially since the talent base of the team in general needs to be improved dramatically if we really want to think about being a consistent 40-50 win team without having to rely on Lance Stephensons and Al Jeffersons to get us to respectability. That Philly game was a stunning eye opener that I hope the FO won't forget this offseason. Without MKG this team talent wise could easily be looking at Mudiay or Okafor right now. If we're going to judge core players simply because of their position in their respective drafts, that's not setting the bar high enough.
