  1. That's game. Toronto is slow and methodical on offense, Carolina playing just as slow and turns it over twice, leading to breakaway goals.
  2. The times RBA has moved Fast to the top line has been against more physical teams and was a little surprised he didn't do it against Florida the other night. Regardless, that top line better produce tonight, because the Guentzel/Necas/Kuz line looks like they can do some serious damage, and they're still working on "chemistry," lol...
  3. Turbo not making the trip to Toronto, so I'll change my pick to Jake the Snake Guentzel.
  4. Beat Toronto earlier this year 3-2, scored a PP goal and had a 100% PK. Carolina allowed 2 goals on 28 shots, if I remember. Samsonov a lot like the last 2 goalies Carolina faced in Shesterkin and Bobo- big guys who can be beat high glove. But the Necas goal was low blocker/far post and Kuznetsov looked like he tee'd it up and took enough time to tell Bobo, "Go ahead and get set, I'll blow this one by you regardless;" and went low blocker.
  5. Saturday evening, March 16 vs. Toronto: Anybodyhome- 8 Harbingers- 5 CarolinaWillRise- 5 WelshPanther- 4 DavidEng- 3 Panthers Fan 69- 3 DamnitJake!- 2 MillionDollarCam- 1 _______________________________________________ Kuznetsov got his first goal as a Cane Thursday night at home. Let's see if Jake can get his first tonight. I'm going to Turbo tonight.
  6. Kuznetsov- both his 2nd intermission and post-game interviews were fuggung great. So happy he got his 1st tonite.
  7. That 2-goal 2nd period and a stout D has broken Florida.
  8. Jarvy with a beauty. Backhand-forehand top shelf glove side. No winners tonight.
  9. Lonberg elevates and throws an elbow for a 2 min charging penalty. Should be a 2-game suspension.
  10. BS penalty giving Florida a PP. Tkachuk hit Aho high with the stick after the whistle.
  11. We were charter PSL owners, giving them up after we moved in 2014. My wife and I attended our first Panther game since our PSL days this past December, the Green Bay game. I gotta be honest, nothing changed since we were last in BOA in 2014. The stadium is dated, the same old TV timeout contest crap, the same tired Sir Purr, the same old music. It was almost depressing walking thru the place. It's sad that a franchise nearly 30 years old still has yet to establish an identity or create a culture. It's a tough ask trying to get whatever fans are left to buy into a whole new beginning. I just don't see it happening until BOA is demolished, the team moved to SC into a new stadium.
  12. At this point, I don't even care they win the division. I think it's a longshot regardless, but I'd rather see the Canes get into the playoffs on a run where they're scoring consistently and playing solid defense. And, let's not forget, getting into the post-season healthy- something that's also been missing the last couple years.
  13. My tickets went unsold. Club level seats at $140 each and did not sell. And my seats were priced lower than comparable seats within a section or 2 of mine
  14. Rags fans all over this place. WTF. Season ticket holders like Panther fans selling their tickets
  15. From the NJ game. As noted and is very evident from the top view camera angle, the goalie had not yet established position outside the crease and, therefore, was not entitled to that space. Noesen was coming across the crease as the goalie was still moving forward.
  16. NY Rags @ Canes, Tue, March 12 I'm going Kuznetsov tonight.
  17. Like throwing a paint job on a lime-green AMC Gremlin and hoping it runs better...
  18. The deal is closed, I've moved the tickets to Ticketmaster and listed them for a lot more than what I would have sold them to one of our brethren here.
  19. Friends of ours gave us tickets on the glass at the Zamboni door for the Rags game. So, that means I have 2 tickets available for tomorrow night. They are in Section 215 (Club level), Row B, Seats 5-6. They are our season tickets and I don't want any Rags fans sitting in them. We're offering them up to the loyal group here first. If no one here wants them, I'll post them to the Ticketmaster site where anyone can get them. I'll even thrown in the parking pass. Face value is about $110 each. Parking is $20. Please reach out ASAP and we'll see if we can work something out. Even if you can't afford them today, I'd be willing to entertain payment options.
  20. Forwards: UFA: TT, Martinook, Noesen. Guentzel Forwards: RFA: Necas, Drury, Jarvis Priorities: Noesen, Necas, Jarvis (Guentzel- maybe?) Defense: UFA: Skjei, Pesce, TDA, Chatty Priorities: Skjei, Chatty
  21. The latest attendance data I could find shows Buffalo in the bottom 30% of the league in attendance, with their arena only filling to 82% capacity through the fist 3 months of the season. In December 2022, they were dead last in attendance, filling just 71.5% of capacity. So, market activity sure isn't the driving factor in hitting people up for $5k. Reads to me like they're trying to force the hands of PSL owners to either show up for games or give up their PSLs. Can you imagine what BOA would look like on Sundays if the Panthers tried some crap like that?
