  1. C'mon guys. Gotta make those picks before puck drop. If I don't see a post before puck drop, it won't count.
  2. So..... the Caps scored twice in the first on 8 shots. Jus' sayin.' Regardless, there aren't many goalies going both games of a B2B these days. Even the teams with a questionable #2 net-minder.
  3. Can't fault RBA. I always assumed this would be the case, and I think it'll be that way until something or someone forces a change. If it ain't broke- don't fix it.
  4. Guess what...? For those of you going to the game tonight... our good friend, Justin Faulk, is now on the Blues roster. Give him hell, please.
  5. Anyone besides me think TDA might be trade bait? He's playing once a week (maybe) and last night he had a grand total of 3:53 TOI and I didn't see him at all after the first Caps goal. Harbs pointed out his unwillingness to get into a board battle, and almost immediately resulted in the opening goal by Dowd. Again, Harbs saw it live and I watched the re-air of the game this morning and saw just how lazy he got and didn't even make an honest effort to clear the puck. I'm sure RBA parked his butt after that.
  6. Oh, I completely agree. Maybe that's why he spent most of the night on the bench after that. 3:53 TOI last night
  7. To be fair, Backstrom was coming right down the slot behind TDA and had TDA taken the shooter, it would have been an easier goal from the front doorstep. Yeah, he was lazy, but he knew better than to put himself way out of position trying to make up for it.
  8. We were out at dinner with friends last night, so I'll be watching the re-air broadcast this afternoon. Raining all weekend, I don't feel guilty.
  9. Both dinged, I think. Expect to see Lemieux tonight? Anyway, let's see if the Cowardly Caps wanna play hockey tonight or will they just try to play keep away?
  10. Going with Turbo tonight. He's waaaay overdue.
  11. Sorry, I was talking about Kochetkov's improvement being the result of consistent playing time. I think our goalie situation is what it is unless Freddie comes back. Barring a TDL move that would require Carolina giving up a major player just for a #2 goalie, I'm afraid that what we see is what we get in net the remainder of the year.
  12. Raanta will more than likely get the Blues Saturday night at home in Raleigh. With the back-to-back coming from Washington; I think this is where he is the remainder of the season unless there's a string of games and RBA just needs to give K a night off. That being said, I throughly believe his improvement stems from consistent play. The back and forth from Chicago, playing a spot here or there and not having any consistency in his job hurt him more than helped.
  13. Gotta admit, I never saw this coming.
  14. Tripp just went Devo on Aho's pass. "Whip it, whip it good." Too funny
  15. Didn't get my pick in, but it didn't matter as I would not have had Drury.
  16. Charities, booster groups and other organizations operate a large portion of the concessions on game day and a portion of the profits go to them, so there's that part of it as well.
  17. Posted this elsewhere.... Owner Bud Adams got a $250k fine when he showed everyone the double finger move several years ago. The fan who dumped a beer on Tyreek Hill got suspended for life from the stadium. Jim Irsay got suspended and couldn't show up at the stadium for a period of time. I think $2M ought to settle things....
  18. Owner Bud Adams got a $250k fine for the double finger gesture a few years ago. The fan who dumped a beer on Tyreek Hill? Suspended for life from the stadium. Tepper should get about $2M.
  19. You do know they had 20+ opt outs, right? I'm talking about CFP teams- how the committee should have selected.
  20. You do realize the PSLs are already sold, right? Whether or not butts are in seats is inconsequential- the tickets are sold and the money is in the bank. PSLs account for over 90% of the tickets at BOA.
  21. Top 4: Michigan, Washington, FSU, UGA.
  22. Yep. Can't be overstated. Each of his 4 seasons at Indiana ended with injuries. 4 years- 4 season-ending injuries.
