Andersen gets hurt and Kochetkov gets recalled from Chicago. Raanta and Kochetkov split time in the crease until Thursday night. Raanta gets pulled following the second intermission. He gave up 3 goals in 15 shots, and, giving Raanta the benefit of the doubt, 2 of them were soft. Andersen is skating in Raleigh and his return appears to be imminent, but it's only a matter of time before he's hurt again. So, with Andersen's $4.5M, Raanta's $2M and Kochetkov's $842k now and $2M starting next season, what are the Canes options? They can't assign either Andersen or Raanta to Chicago without waiving them first and see if they clear. Will they send Kochetkov back to Chicago once Andersen is healthy? Let's read your thoughts!
