  1. The Panthers Huddle is usually just propaganda …this one was actually good im feeling good about the Morgan and Canales marriage the proof is ‘in the pudding’ however …and have to remember a first time head coach and players who have never played together before but they can’t possibly be worse than last year the wild card to all this, too, is Young I wish I felt better about him but I don’t Morgan says he wants ‘dawgs’ not ‘dogs’ I.e. pit bulls vs poodles…I see young as the latter, not the former Regardless, life is full of surprises…maybe he is a lot more than I see. I’m not a scout or coach
  2. It is a concern but there are 3 more major opportunities to pick up a veteran the panthers had zero playmakers last year. Had to change so many holes. So few draft picks i think Morgan did as a good as possible canales fixed the bucs alignment for mayfield. Ill give him the benefit of yhe doubt
  3. He really is a tough guy on the field folks on here gotta have soon fun now and again i hope Young can be all he is supposed to be…no one wins if he fails…he gets his shot this year…but if not, let’s not waste the time trying to make him be something he can’t be
  4. Posting Just for laughs….or, maybe not “The Carolina Panthers weren’t on the list of Deion Sanders’ preferred landing spots for his son Shedeur. But that didn’t stop CBS Sports writer Ryan Wilson from already projecting the University of Colorado star to the Queen City—and with next year’s No. 1 overall pick, no less. Wilson, in his “way-too-early” 2025 mock draft, explains that a new quarterback may be on the horizon if the Panthers finish with the league’s worst record for the second year in a row: If nothing else, using the betting odds means that, for the third straight year, the Panthers have the No. 1 overall pick. Hopefully first-year coach Dave Canales can get the most out of Bryce Young, but if that doesn’t happen … you’d have to imagine quarterback at No. 1 (for the second time in three drafts for Carolina) will be a talking point. And with that pick, Wilson sends Sanders to Carolina: Shedeur Sanders made huge strides in his first year as an FBS QB and he’ll be in the conversation with several other players to be the first quarterback drafted. Sanders completed 69.3 percent of his passes for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns and just three interceptions in 2023”
  5. Heard or read somewhere that the staff is also looking at Brady C as the backup center and that he was taking some snaps
  6. Ask Zack Wilson, Mack Jones, Sam Darnold, and a plethora of other QBs in the league the team, and the grown men who play to get paid on it, depend on hitting personnel incentives and team incentives …much driven by qb performance this is a business…perform or be gone the fans do play part in it as they will not pay to see incompetence…over and over and over again. fair or not, and we know life isn’t fair, production is expected from what is typically the highest paid position on the field don't know about you but I have no more fugs to give with young Time for participation trophies is over
  7. The coach has a system he evaluated the current roster and you see all the changes made …his picks are to allow him to execute his system…the Gm is making those picks it isn’t to please 1. Those who think he isn’t running a modern system 2. the mock draft people 3 or the talking heads He evaluated the team and said with action what we all know…there is zero offensive skilled talent on this team…zero….plus a qb not exactly skilled in long passes…don’t think he doesn’t know that …and oline pieces that were a mish mash what would you have him do….go vertical…without a qb to support it…go all receivers with the same qb who can’t get the ball to them …let’s be real here Young is neither mahomes or Allen if young falls, he will be shelved after year 2 and at least the foundation will be set for the ‘modern offense’
  8. Well….ill take you back to the Rhule years where RAS was all there was there are football players and there are test takers (physical and otherwise) …but you know what doesn’t lie, tape.
  9. It’s not what you see or i see it’s not what the point sheet says its what canales needs for his offense vs what he sees he has on this team and apparently what he sees is what we all know The skill players are lacking
  10. How did anyone not know it would be Sanders 2 TE sets upcoming glad for it
  11. Very short the coach he has now has applied measurements to him. If he doesn’t show improvement week over week, If he can’t hit those by 3/4 of the season, he will be benched improvement and winning are the name of the game now I ask myself, Morgan wants ‘dawgs’. Is Young a ‘dawg’ or a ‘dog’. I see the latter, not the former.
  12. I guess we can’t just enjoy getting an influx of better players than we have or the fact that we got our second back or that come June 1, lot of salary cap cuts and then August TC cuts as someone said, “there is a shopping list’ based on the vision of Canales and Morgan come in, it’s Friday night, have a drink and enjoy this
  13. Wanted Cooper. Ba bye pick 52 needs to be a good one
  14. I’d like to see them have a winning or at least competent season before I die
  15. This year rams pick plus A fifth this year 2nd next year
  16. Small things are all we have…..including the smallest QB in probably the modern era sans Flutie and Murray .…. Murray at least thick enough and nimble enough to get away from opponents who want to kill him
  17. Yes. They did pick up his fifth year option the other thing,Atlanta is loaded with Weapons and a qb that can get it to them
  18. Giving just a bit of the rds for copywriter reasons I honestly cannot see this happening tonight for the Panthers I see either a CB and linebacker or CB AND CENTER im sharing as many on here follow Dane 33. Buffalo Bills (from CAR): Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas 34. New England Patriots: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia 35. Arizona Cardinals: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa Between DeJean’s versatility and the Cardinals’ needs in the secondary, this is a team-player pairing that made a ton of sense in the first round — and makes even more sense in Round 2. 36. Washington Commanders: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston 37. Los Angeles Chargers: Junior Colson, LB, Michigan 38. Tennessee Titans: Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois 39. Carolina Panthers (from NYG): Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama 40. Washington Commanders (from CHI): Marshawn Kneeland, Edge, Western Michigan 41. Green Bay Packers (from NYJ): Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M 51. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, G/C, Oregon 55. Miami Dolphins: Zach Frazier, G/C, West Virginia 65. Carolina Panthers: DJ James, CB, Auburn
