  1. That's good. It'll probably be another blowout loss
  2. But you can teach athletes to play the game... At least that is seems to be the school of thought the Hornets and a large part of the fanbase subscribe to.
  3. So, have the Hornets always just used Summer League as an excuse so MJ has a free flight to Vegas? That's the only reason I can think of why the Hornets always have such a bad SL team.
  4. I'm not sure why the Hornets even bothered playing any summer league games. That would have been better off just practicing against themselves.
  5. I'm not sure what Kai Jones was trying to do there unless it was breaking the backboard.
  6. Couldn't help myself and had to watch. Miller looks more engaged in the early going. I'm not sure I like his shooting motion, but it works, so whatever. If Stick Man stays healthy, the NBA is going to push him to the moon.
  7. That's why I said if he's not recovered that it would have been better for him to sit out summer league and just workout with the team.
  8. If mono is still affecting him so badly that it's hampering his training and all, he shouldn't be playing. I'd rather the guy was fully recovered and trained with the team over the summer than see him struggle through a few meaningless summer league games.
  9. I get all that. But Miller needs to be more aggressive and show that he can be more than a bench 3 and D guy or a new version of Batum, especially since he was the second pick in the draft. Miller has been one of the top HS and college players in the country. He's always had pressure and hype. He needs to show he can live up to it. As I stated before, his playmaking is promising and his willingness to pass is very nice, but he needs to show more aggressiveness to score.
  10. Well, this is the land of the divided and home of the spoiled after all. So, enjoying angry and sad popsicles makes sense.
  11. Some of you guys have issues when it comes to Rhule and might need to talk to someone about it.
  12. Just going to clip part of that article. The thing the writer is overlooking is this isn't the first season the Hornets have done those things nor other teams. The Hornets always look terrible in summer league, so individual performances are all fans have to go on.
  13. That will most likely be what happens. It's the Hornets after all. Plus, even though I don't know who coaches his team, I'm positive he has better coaches than Clifford and Co, which will make a difference. Clifford seems like a good dude, and he might be a very good assistant coach, but the man is a bad head coach.
  14. Well, this is the last summer league game I'll watch. These guys are mostly selfish, taking terrible shots, and playing with little to no effort. Bouknight needs to be left on the bench, if not cut or traded for peanuts. Kai Jones is still very raw. Hopefully he can improve. Smith Jr is selfish and not much of a PG at all. Miller has been the best playmaker of the floor for the Hornets and he isn't great at that and is way too passive. A top 3 pick should be aggressive and that hasn't been him so far.
  15. Miller has at least shown he can make some plays for others. He has 6 assists. That said, he has only taken 2 shots in 21 minutes of play time. He needs to be a lot more aggressive and the coaches need to demand he be given the ball instead of the guards taking all the shots.
  16. Miller, Nnaji, and Jones are the only ones not throwing up a ton of terrible shots. The guards though? Woof
  17. Don't forget that was in seven minutes or less of play time too.
