The one thing I've seen quite a bit this afternoon and evening, other than he was hired to fix Young, is that Canales could be the next great offensive coach but he probably isn't quite ready and that the Panthers will need to be patient as he grows into the role. Hopefully, that's true and Tepper gives him the time he needs.

Canales being hired to "fix" Young seems to be what every report and video about his hire has said so far. Guess all the reporters are sharing a brain.

Council interviews Buck Reising, a Tennessee reporter he used to work with, about Vrabel. Lots of joking and ball busting between the two. Reising thinks Vrabel was advised to wait before entering the coaching searches Council doesn't think Vrabel would mesh with Tepper because of Tepper's meddling ways. He says this after Reising explained how Vrabel lost a power struggle and was fired over it. Says that Vrabel's old school approach isn't the way the NFL is going After the interview, Council says he thinks Vrabel's and Tepper's personalities would clash too much There's a bit more information here, but you can watch for yourself.

The problem with waiting is that they might miss on the guy(s) that want to coach this team instead of just getting the biggest check. That's if there are any of them that truly want to come here.

For those too lazy to watch the 3 minute clip, they say Vrabel is walking culture and Tim likes him. That said, he says Tepper could be striking out on his preferred candidates, so is expanding the search.

Great question. Then you also have to ask is the player persona who Morgan really is or was or was that a mask he used to hide who he really is?

I've only been watching a few minutes of this so far but Gantt is hyping up that Morgan isn't afraid to say no. That doesn't sit well with me. If the team's mouthpiece is hyping that up, it doesn't bode well. They've started to talk about last season and Gantt blamed the Oline injuries and having to play so many guards for a lot of the issues. Nothing about the Oline playing the wrong scheme or anything else so far.

Then all that firm did was take Tepper's money. There's no way anyone with a shred of common sense could look at the moves, roster, and record the Panthers have had since Morgan joined the FO and say yeah, he's the best guy, when he helped do all that.
