Whole point of bringing in Miller was to pair him with Slavin to cover up his defense... Injuries haven't allowed that to happen. Which has a trickle down effect on the other pairings So what should be Slavin/Miller Walker/Chatfield Nikishin/Ghost Has been Walker/Miller Nikishin/Chatfield Some fresh bodies from the AHL On top of that goalie play has been mostly a miss with Freddie in net and the defense in front of the goalies has been mostly trash. We probably won't get the answer to the Miller Slavin question this season (if the pairing can work at all) Only thing can hope for is the defense to get and stay healthy and for the front office to go find a goalie and another center.

Additionally none of the other lines have any punch right now with Jarvis out and All three big time players on the first line.

Team just isn't playing well at all right now, only a few goalies would be able to hold up in front of this defensive play.

He's not looked great but once again for half the game the play in front of the goalie has been not so good to put it nicely

This is how bad Freddie has been this season. I saw he was starting, knew it would be bad and a loss... So didn't watch at all.

He's a LB without the ability to shed blocks consistently or a safety without typical safety traits.

It wouldn't be about division, it would be about group record. The Panthers would be 2-0 vs the Falcons and 1-1 vs the Bucs. Therefore win the three way tiebreaker via a 3-1 record among the three teams.

All three teams would finish 8-9 and the tiebreaker would fall to group record among the three teams. Virtue of sweeping the falcons and beating the Bucs once, the Panthers would be 3-1 and the Bucs would be 2-2. So the Panthers would get into the playoffs.
