He's already said he's ok with them taking him and ready to get to work
-
The least athletic player in this draft at #4 is god awful. Yes his numbers back up that he's the least athletic player in this draft.
-
Even with the shooting ability, he's worthless. He has no athleticism at all, that's a bench player at best.
-
With what was available, you had to take the swing or trade back. Kon wasn't worth taking with the 4th pick and wasn't in my top ten. He's at best a 6th man type player on a really good team. You either trade back or take Ace at 4.
-
If they traded back it's for maluach. The interest in kon is wildly overstated. It's either Bailey or VJ at 3 or a trade back for Maluach.

Rumor. Canes trading for Tomas Hertl
carpanfan96 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
It was purely a salary dump with the biggest piece going to Vegas was a 3rd. Seems dead for now though. Dunno if Hertl vetod the trade with his move clause or not. -
Rumor. Canes trading for Tomas Hertl

Tulsky out on Marner since he wants short term. So trying to facilitate a trade with either Vegas or Dallas to help them clear space to sign Marner. Vegas would be Hertl and Dallas would be for Robertson. Either deal is contingent on the other team being confident enough that they will be the team to win the Marner sweepstakes. Edit to add: Vegas deal seems 95% likely to happen shortly. A few Wolves players and draft picks for Hertl the current deal. -
Rumor. Canes trading for Tomas Hertl

Marner to LV if the trade goes through. -
I have Charlotte trading back to 7 with the Pelicans and drafting Maluach. Williams getting traded and Alvarado coming back along with other pieces. Hornets front office really like Maluach and he seems to be the target they want but not at 4.
-
Elhers is going to cost around 8-9m AAV based on reports.
-
Rumor came out today that the Canes are going to offer Marner 14m AAV over 7.

Off Topic: Remember Ron Rivera on "All or Nothing"?
carpanfan96 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
They're adults. Boo hoo they got cursed at, I was getting cused at in little League and pee wee football at 7. Absolutely freaking ridiculous -
I think he fits, he's a two way player and had over or around 50 hits last season. Also I'm just going off what I heard. I can say he's definitely the top target FA wise, there are others via FA and trades that are also high on the list. They will go through the top players at every position and run the phones ragged trade wise.

From someone that told me about the Walker and Ghosty signings last off-season. Burns would not be on first pair. Would be with Nikishin on 2nd pair, if Nikishin is able to learn the language enough to make the team. Also Canes will definitely offer Marner and the team has already talked to his agent. Expected offer/rate it will take to sign him will be 13AAVx7 years.
-
Looks like Burns will be back on a 1 year deal at a lower salary.
-
He's seemed irritated on pretty much every apparence I've seen him on so far.
-
Wants Burns back but admitted they put too much on him by putting him on the first pair and that he should be on 2nd or maybe even third.
-
Ouch, he went right at KK. Yeeesh
-
Glad he isn't feeling any pain now and can live a healthy life.

Little worried about Jarvy Shoulder and that torn cuff, it's needed surgery for 2 years now and he's gonna play with it injured again next season. I like the toughness but would definitely prefer it to be fixed. He's an intritical player on the team going forward. Also I was high on pain pills last time I wrote about saving cap space but I didn't go into detail cause I wouldn't have been able to do so. "still on a ton of pain medication but not as nearly as many, think I'm down to 23 pills a day from 32 a few days ago, 18 of them are for pain management in some form or another." But I digress let's get to the point I was trying to make in my last post about saving, I'll now use Jarvis as an example. Let's say the canes spend 23m of the 28m in space they have available. Then have Jarvis get surgery and put him on LTIR at the start of the regular season. You let the cap space sit til the trade deadline. At the deadline that cap space would have accural on it and the team can use that space and spend 24m on incoming salary for the rest of the season. Let's say they bring in 5 players and send out two. "player A has an 8m AAV contract" he'd cost Carolina 4m the rest of the season. Player B makes 10 "cost of 5. So forth and so forth. Using that accural system and the Jarvis LTIR, the Canes could then go into the playoffs with a healthy Jarvis and be 19m over the cap legally for a cup run. The more cap space available at the start of the season, the larger the accural would be at the trade deadline. That was the first part of what I was going to try and articulate the other day but I'm on 35mg of oxy every 6 hours plus ketorolac and two other pain pills and another for kidney spasms. Have a wonderful night everyone

If Hyman could come back, definitely. Fact he probably can't, so id say probably not. They have Jeff skinner out right now on the third line. -

Rantanen has been awful against the Oilers. -3 (-4 counting tonight) with 2 assists and 8 sog (9 counting tonight) Ewwww -
I don't wanna but after looking at that .. I've got to give it to him. You can't have 3 defenders posting -5GS over a series and win. As much as I don't necessarily agree with Nikishin's and much of Morrow was in one game .. still ya can't win like that at all. No chance in hell.
-
Nothing to do with roll over or any other thing you posted. Fact is Canes will want to sign three of those four. Any big time AAV contracts are going to hurt that 2026 roster which is at 60m spent on 14 players right now. That's all I meant by it. Nothing more, nothing less.

That list looks horrible. Ewwwwww
