something i learned last year is sports betting will burn your ass. I made like 2000 dollars after about 250 dollars in bets early in the season (september). Then i went on to spend at least 4000 more dollars on bets and I probably won no more than 200 dollars back from all of that. Throughout the rest of the season. I'm good on betting on football for a while lol Injuries in particular will screw you out of a ton of bets on football

We are in bad need of some highly drafted defensive players. Giving away more high picks for offense when we just scored over 40 to end the season and still barely won the game would be mind boggling to me

I keep seeing reports that the Panthers are hard on getting a top tier wr this off season. I wouldn't mind it I guess, but am I the only one who really wants to fo us on defense? I also don't want to get back to fitterers ways of handing out draft picks like they're hot potatoes. Would you really be comfortable trading multi high picks for players like Garret Wilson or Tryeek Hill to get Bryce another weapon? They spent a 2nd round pick on Mingo in 2023, a 1st. round pick on Legette in 2024. You wanna spend another 1st or 2nd on a wr when our defense is historically atrocious?

Totally agree. The 2025 season should be a "put up or shut up" kind of year, not just for Bryce but for the whole team to make some big strides. The last place you want to be in the NFL is in the middle. Not bad enough for top 10 picks but not good enough to contend for deep playoff runs. It's hard to get out of that kind of a quagmire.

in my memory, Steve Smith and DJ Moore could do this. I can't remember too many other Panthers that could. Jonathan Stewart?? He didn't catch many passes though. We draft way too many nice guys that wouldn't even think about doing what Goddert just did.
