  1. Analysis? Is that what you call the OP. It read more like an opnion piece to me. I just don't agree with those opinions at this point in either of their carreers. But, I am all with you in wanting them to do well. Time will tell though.
  2. So hows this post working out for you lol. Makes you wonder if your just as wrong about Bryce as well.
  3. The Panthers have the most expensive O-line after signing Hunt and Lewis to massive contracts and they have been worth every penny. Problem is they were both missing yesterday and it showed. Pass blocking was abysmal as was the run blocking. They couldn't even get 1 yard on a fourth and one with Rico. It didn't help that Canales continued to call the same conservative stuff over and over. Of course some of it can also be attributed to the Jets' front seven. As a reminder, they held Bo Nix and the Broncos to almost the exact same numbers last week (168 / 78 vs the Panthers 198 / 125). So maybe it's not all on Bryce Young or Andy Dalton.
  4. Guess we know who the starting center is going forward lol
  5. Your data is useless without explanations of where they come from and what each represents. I say this as someone who thinks Bryce is better than his numbers by the way.
  6. I don't really listen/watch this guy much but I can appreciate the props he gives Tet.
  7. You guys are hilarious at times. He played one game with Dalton. He had 5 passes thrown his way catching three and from that limited play you can tell he was "joyfull" for having Dalton.
  8. I thought so at the time as well. Of course if the rookies/Legette keep developing than maybe not. At least they got a fourth and fifth round draft pick out of it and the saved 7 million as the Vikings picked up his contract.
  9. Agreed. If for no other reason than to try and get some rookie contracts in there. What they are currently spending isn't sustainable.
  10. Short term is the key point. Those first two games without him where pretty bad. They still aren't back to where they were offensively but they are getting better. Hopefully Tet continues to improve and Coker eventually returns - and stays healthy.
  11. 1629 yards, 10 TD's, 76% catch rate with Young as his QB. He was a huge loss for the offense. AQNTwlfuQkK43fHfFsZpFtoELBEO1OkjUsHGw1KYbQDYcP1QoJoUTRNYP0qBtaxE2e02PQ5bJJSDgL2KIbGXcUlN-WCJibZLHJxW3mc.mp4
  12. It's only 11 minutes long and well worth the watch but if you just want to hear about the Panthers then go to the 7:45 mark
  13. Not like Mayfield and Darnold which is the point CRA was making
  14. Well if you think the talent of the receivers a QB has to throw to does not make a difference in their output, than there's nothing else for me to say because I think it makes all the diference in the world. Guess we will just have to agree to disagree.
  15. According to ProFootball Reference's advance passing stats: Bryce Young is at 22% bad passes Caleb Williams is at 21% bad passes Cam Ward is at 22% bad passes Michael Penix is at 22% bad passes He doesn't look "crazy" high to me when compared to others.
  16. I disagree about the talent not making a difference. Last season, Bryce completed 77.4% of his passes to Theilen. He only completed 58.3% to Legette. The only difference is one is a better receiver / route runner than the other.
  17. Not cherry picking when I was simply addressing the point of too many ints and I see no reason why Bryces should be "drastically" higher especially given the fact that Newton had Steve Smith, Greg Olsen and Brad Lafell to throw to while Bryce had Theileln, Mingo, and Johnson. If anything, Bryce should have been worse but since you accuse me of cherry picking, I'll add this: Newton completed 57.7 % of his passes with the Pro Bowl players; Young completed 60.9% even with inferior talent to throw to.
  18. Well if Mahomes is the standard to measure by, then 90% of the QB's in the NFL are failures. I'll gladly post all the data for you later this evening. I've been looking for an excuse to throw them up here
  19. I focused on the TO's because the guy said he had too many turnovers. If you had read that, you would have understood the point I was making. And as far as TO's, I included Ints and fumbles measured against drop backs. Felt that wa the fairest way to look at it. Looking at just Int's, he looks even better.
  20. I have all that data ( yards, atts, tds, fumbles, ypa, ypa, etc) and would be glad to post it all but I can assure you it will not help your arguement
  21. It's not cherry picking. Its going back 17 games and comparing it to second years for the others. I guess I could have gone into everyones 3rd season and starting from game 6 going back but that's too much work given it wouldn't change the results that much. And as far as starting from now, it's because that's where we are. I could care less about his first year.
