Just a realist. Miller should be a Summer League MVP candidate with his advertised pedigree. Amari Bailey is outplaying him through the first two games. First impressions are important and so far Miller has been a dud. Hopefully it changes.

Another lackluster start for Miller. 4 Fouls and 3 TOs in the 1st quarter and no points. I'm sure he will pad the box score when the game is out of hand though.

They are, but a more talented defender will not allow Miller to put them in a poor position and need to foul. His knack was not being a shot creator and it shows. Obviously too soon to make a judgement but first impression was worse than I expected.

Those won't be fouls against actual NBA starters though. He 100% needs to add to his frame.

Innocent or not, Miller will carry this event on his mind the rest of his life. I know I would. If Miller was head and shoulders above Scoot I could understand the pick with the baggage attached. He wasn't though. No idea how you compare Scoot and Miller and be ok with this pick. Mitch couldn't event articulate what attracted them to Miller so much, likely because he thought Scoot was better and was overruled by the biggest stooge in pro sports, Michael Jordan.
