I don't expect him to be perfect but I suspect he will be putting in the effort defensively to not be a complete liability and stay in the lineup over Marrow.... He adds more offense so hopefully it will offset any defensive lapses.... he's fantastic at walking the line and postponing himself to keep pucks in... (something burns has been making me go wtf why are you so out of postion when guys are slinging it to the point)

Agreed lock him up the guy loves it here and you can tell.... It would give us a top line that can Cary the team next year might end up being a reset happy to make the playoffs year but 2026 will likely see the Canes window open up again for anther 2-4 years with Young talent like Nikishin,Marrow,FUS,Nadeau making the lineup

With the Stars and Nucks likely to lose in round 1 all we have to do is make it through the NYR to have home Ice in the other 3 potential series.
