  1. The starting O-line looked like they were overmatched. I mean, did they even show the hell up? Bryce looked antsy due to pressure. The run game was not going to do anything without the O-line being effective. The starting inside D-line wasn't great. The pass rush was pretty much non-existent. If Jaycee doesn't play, the defensive cornerbacks as a unit are not going to have any real legitimacy or consistency. The starters' display of football wasn't great today.
  2. We're going to be beyond fvcked if Dalton has to come in for any appreciable amount of time (just like last season).
  3. I mean, I'm a Georgia grad, but Etienne is going to be better than Dowdle after all us said and done.
  4. I told y'all that these preseason starts don't matter. Well, maybe they do matter in that Huddlers will finally be realistic and lower expectations.
  5. Offense is not looking good. The Panthers O-line gave up pressure. Receivers were open per Smitty.
  6. Great that Stroud overthrew the ball on third down. We were good on first and second downs.
  7. One errant pass, run into a wall, and a drop by JT. That's your first series.
  8. So is the Texans'. Metchie is in danger of being cut. Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Christian Kirk, Jayden Higgins & Jaylin Noel. If I were Dan Morgan though, I just don't know that I could pass up the connection. I mentioned Horn and Moore being cut if someone else that was an upgrade became available. Well, I think that Metchie would probably fit that bill.
  9. We think, "Come get me." Maybe that was Dunc just talking though.
  10. That's what happens when you're behind a lot.
  11. It's a helluva lot easier to put someone on the ground when you're grabbing their facemask and using it as leverage to put them in an awkward position. The DB was lucky that they both had helmets on. Real talk.
  12. I don't think Horn is guaranteed. I don't think Moore is guaranteed either. I don't think that we'll keep either one of them if by chance someone is cut that would be an upgrade to either. I'm not downplaying Moore though. An experienced vet that can legitimately fill in when injury bug bites is not to be taken for granted.
  13. Yeah, he's made some plays. The thing is though, he's really just a possession receiver. Horn, theoretically, provides speed and explosiveness. He's just so small though, and he really provides zilch as far as blocking down field (unlike Tremayne). It will be interesting to see what happens there.
