That’s not the pressure situations I’m talking about. 49ers were winning 31-6 when that play occurred. I’m talking 4th quarter game on the line plays. Teddy failed miserably. I have no idea how Darnold will be.

i said in that post darnold can make plays that like 5 qbs in the league can make because he is talented but it’s putting it all together that most people have concerns about.

I think he's much more likely to get things rolling in those situations than teddy. I see a lot of Jake in him.

    Maybe you missed this :

But if this is any indication, he'll react quite well.

Plus, he won't have to be running for his life this time with an AVERAGE(at worst) O-line that he will have in Carolina.

    And also this....

  3. It absolutely needs to happen. Too many things are left open for refs to make judgement calls. The more decisions we can take out if their hands, the better the game will be.

Ball placement should absolutely not be a judgement call. Any remaining judgement calls they make should be challengeable.

  4. Just like Rhule said on the Rich Eisen show, "if everyone is thinking the same thing, no one is thinking". They have a culture that allows and even encourages, but also respects a strong difference of opinion.

It's ok. Yes, it is/was a gamble, but so is every other decision in the draft. Like Fitt also said, according to Gantt, "trust the board". They went in with a plan and trusted it and adapted it to take care of what they needed to.

Basically, it's something that I expect, bit also not something that throws up a red flag about the organization the way it does in Philly.

I really prefer a QB who can not just extend plays with his legs, but is a threat with them a la Cam and Fields.

Part of the thing that has impressed me about Darnold is his scrambling ability, being able to keep the play alive and look for the best opportunity.

That video is crazy underrated. For a DT to Juke two players and run about 30-40yds for a TD on a pass intended to the flats.

That's insane for the big man.

I replayed that one at least a dozen times the first time I saw it. Flat out amazing seeing that big guy run like that.

Wait, he didn’t resign, he RE-SIGNED!

that or the espn reporter covering our team isn’t qualified to report on intramural softball

Anyway, I wish Luke the best. One of the greatest of all time.

Raise your hand, everyone, if you think David newton can tell the difference between resigned and re-signed.

Of course probably only half the crowd probably knows this and the other half didn't and thinks I'm a grammar nazi for noticing and pointing it out.
