Dang huddle had more jealousy and hatefulness than I thought. If he wanted to brag, 10 more levels were needed.

I vaguely remember thebigcat.
You must not have been here or remember him going off his meds and getting banned because all he did was fling poo everywhere.
The bragging about money was annoying, but he jumped the rails.
I suspect it won't take long for that to happen again.

The NFLPA signed off on Thursday night games many years ago, right?
This was a mistake on their part. Looked at increased revenue available for salaries and valued it over their own well-being.
It would have happened without their approval, though.

Yes. Thursday night is a bad thing for the players.
Bit then profit > people, right?

Stop bullshitting with the offensive line ffs. We are going to have 60+ million in cap space. Lock down Armstead for 4 years if he hits the market. (which he should) 3 to 4 years is plenty of time to develop his replacement as long as we don’t continue to neglect the position.
Use our first rounder on the best Center available to us in the draft and this line will be looking like a top 10 unit in the league.
I have no doubt we're going to be making a serious push for Armstead. Stealing him from the saints will be sweeter than taking Gilmore out from under the bucs noses.

I think you are worrying for nothing. This defense is mostly positionless in the secondary. That means the guys have to be able to play every positionl in the secondary. Even the LB's need position flexibility.
Positions are for paper.....at least in this defense. On the field and in the mind of (Phil) Snow, it's VERY fluid.

That’s a hell of a statement to make to your locker room.If they don't like it, they should play better so he doesn't want to

should be it.

What deals for OL have we not been in on? What deals for OL have been going on?
Teams don't trade OL, especially decent ones. They don't let them go the way they do other positions.
It's going to be near impossible to trade for one or find one worth having hitting the market. And if you do find one....it's gonna cost much more than almost any other position.

Sam does have his issues in the third, buy it's a whole team effort... or lack thereof in the third. They come out in the 2nd half flat on both sides of the ball.
I don't know what they do in that locker room during the half, but it isn't filling them with a sense of urgency.
It's almost like they take a nap during halftime and use the 3rd to wake up.
All other quarters they are damn solid. It's just coming out of that half that they sleep walk.
Overcoming that is going ng to be the thing that makes them a championship team, even with a bad OL.

That's a good point.
All those posters demeaning his rushing TDs aren't analyzing them, but are equating them to Cam's style -- entirely different. Darnold has 5 rushing TDs in the first 4 games, more than Cam -- or ANY OTHER QB in the history of the league (SB era). And what makes them special is that (unlike Cam, who'd just launch himself over the pile from the 1) Darnold has only been TOUCHED on 1 of those 5.
So let's give the man credit. He's reading the defense on those 4 TDs, a lot better than they're reading him!
It seems like there are posters here (I won't call them Panther fans) who have holdover resentments (Fields?) that we ever signed him, and will never accept him as our QB.
His record is so far more than acceptable -- W/L, %completions, yardage, TDs, you name it. So he's missed some open receivers? Happens to every QB. I support and admire what he's done. The ones who pick apart some arcane stat he lags behind at are either missing the big picture, or are hopelessly swirling in their own bias.
Hes taking advantage of what the defense is giving him and he's doing it in a very effective and efficient manner that eliminates chances for turnovers and it's all part of the scheme.
Brady gives him choices and if one of the choices allows you to walk into the end zone, you walk.
You don't not walk into the end zone because "I'm a QB and I should be throwing the ball in". How epically STUPID would that be?
It's just like if you had some monster RB who could run the ball in effectively and consistently and you kept going to him instead of choosing to throw. Would the QB be considered less effective at his job if he went to the RB consistently?
Oye .....

I would rather just have a QB that can pass TDs.
This year and last year we seem to have a coaching staff that think you have to use all 100 yards of the field before you can try for the endzone.
I would just like to see a QB that passes for a lot of TDs. But to each his own-

The job of the OC and QB is to get us downfield and into the endzone. Doesn't matter how it happens as long as it does.

Hey I’ve never had a problem with u but calling someone a bad fan for calling a loss is absurd. Igo literally puts out an prediction thread and people picked Cowboys to win. I mean damn really?
I put bad fan in quotes. I don't get to decide who is or isn't a bad fan. I may not like what you said (which is my right just as it is you're right to say it) and it was the "I told you so" attitude that pissed me off, but it's not bannable. None of it is.

Okay then what about the Cowboy fans who purposely sign up here just to TROLL?
It's tolerable to a point before the game...after the game not so much. That's why I gave most of them the boot. They beat us, they get a little freedom to gloat, but not for long.
Them being around to talk trash before the game and a little after is totally fine and pretty fun as long as they don't break the rules.

WTF is with these damn scrolling ads. JFC, it was a lot of work to get to the reply box and even now I can’t see what I quoted. SMH.
Anyway, I remember a prior discussion about this and IMHO the starting OL doesn’t need the versatility as much as the backups. If you only have 3 backups active like we seem to be doing, then you need a guy who can play both Gs and a guy who can play both Ts. The starting LG can be horrific at C and RG as long as he’s awesome at LG. Don’t care about his versatility if he’s playing because he’s going to stay there.
Yes, starters on the OL don't need to be versatile, they just need to be REALLY good at their specific position. Backups should be versatile and need to be, until they are good enough at one job to take the starting role at that position over as their own.

Dude, you're a Mod.
You have the power to do something about trolls like him and long-time trolls like BurnNChin.
Just because I have power doesn't mean it should be used much.
I'm not going to ban people just because they have unpopular opinions or don't show their fanhood the way I would or just because they are turds.
Spamming and constant trolling or too many insults (outside of the tinderbox) are the primary reasons. Not for being a "bad fan".
