ERIC WASHINGTON NEEDS TO GO

Damn man. I’m sick to my stomach right now, and honestly it’s not because of all the alcohol I needed to ingest to witness what I just saw tonight versus the Steelers.   What a pathetic defensive performance.

this defense looked like garbage. Isn’t that the opposite of what defense has looked like in Charlotte for the past decade?  Wtf is Eric Washington doing.  We went up 7-0 in this game.  Defense has to do something and it did nothing. I’m disgusted.   Wtf is going on right now on defense.

Eric Washington is in over his head right now and I don’t even care what the numbers say.  If we’re giving up over 40 ISSA PROBLEM.

This guy has no idea what he’s doing.  We have the personnel to have a good defense.  Luke is still the linebacker right? A Luke defense has never done what has happened tonight.  This guy needs to go.  Or get demoted, IDGAF this defense has been a lot better in the past.

i expect this team to come back but we can’t win if the defense can’t travel.   The defense used to travel in the past.  Washington is fugging a lot up and it’s obvious to anyone right now.  Get this man away from any decision making capacity yesterday

    • Saw a replay of that Kucci save in the first period. That was a crazy good save and unbelievable awareness to realize that the bruins skater was coming open from the back boards
    • Across the league, many of the most productive wide receivers are doing their best work out of the slot. Rams WR Puka Nacua and Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba are perfect examples, with both putting up strong numbers this season thanks to their impact coming from the slot. Teams are clearly figuring out that placing their top playmakers inside creates major advantages against today’s defenses. I’m glad Canales has picked up on that as well and put T-Mac in position to have his best game yet. Especially against the Falcons, who arguably had one of the better pass defenses in the NFL prior to yesterday Hope to see that continue. Dave's still relatively young in the coaching world and is clearly still trying to find a good formula. Yesterday's gameplan with the YAC and impact all across the board was an encouraging sign for the future.
    • I was really happy to see XL have success and make an impact. I’ve been one of his biggest haters, but at the same time there’s very few players I want to see succeed more than XL. He’s a good dude who’s been through a lot. I hope he can keep building off this game.
