our pass defense

is the worst i have ever seen , worse then 2016 , worst then last season , worst then 2014 . its terrible . Its mainly eric washington , lack of talent and stupid zone defense that we been running for years . our biggest weakness is a good qb with elite receivers and giving up 52 points exposed how bad we are as a defense . on paper this is one of the better defenses but we are nit producing , we get almost no pressure , only ones getting pressure is pep and addison , our corners cant cover anything , we still give up short passes and now this year we give up the long ball . we are still a playoff team but we are going to have nightmares vs the saints twice and and falcons . that was gross watching that blow out , no chance in hell we can win the superbowl with this defense . can you imagine what the rams would do to us? and what the saints will do to us ? im not being negative but if you are positive after last night you dont care about this team because im furious when im writing this . eric washington needs to be fired , offense on the other hand struggled vs the pass rush which is our biggest issue on the offense side of the ball but in a whole norv has done a great job with our offense this season , its sad how much we have regressed on defense despite adding more talent , if washington isnt fired idk what to say , that was terrible .

    • Saw a replay of that Kucci save in the first period. That was a crazy good save and unbelievable awareness to realize that the bruins skater was coming open from the back boards
    • Across the league, many of the most productive wide receivers are doing their best work out of the slot. Rams WR Puka Nacua and Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba are perfect examples, with both putting up strong numbers this season thanks to their impact coming from the slot. Teams are clearly figuring out that placing their top playmakers inside creates major advantages against today’s defenses. I’m glad Canales has picked up on that as well and put T-Mac in position to have his best game yet. Especially against the Falcons, who arguably had one of the better pass defenses in the NFL prior to yesterday Hope to see that continue. Dave's still relatively young in the coaching world and is clearly still trying to find a good formula. Yesterday's gameplan with the YAC and impact all across the board was an encouraging sign for the future.
    • I was really happy to see XL have success and make an impact. I’ve been one of his biggest haters, but at the same time there’s very few players I want to see succeed more than XL. He’s a good dude who’s been through a lot. I hope he can keep building off this game.
