Game 80: Pistons vs. Bobcats

Tip off is in about an hour. The final regular season home game of the season. We've already sewed up 7th seed, so this one is for the fans. The Pistons are on a 3 game win streak and will look to finish their disappointing season strong. Looks like Jax will play tonight although he and G-Force will probably get limited minutes. This is a great chance for our bench guys like DJ, Graham, Hughes, etc to step up and shine in front of the home crowd. GO BOBCATS!!!

It is nice to see D.J. and Hughes get into rythem with their shots! Our bench play has gotten a heck of a lot better as the year has went on. It is going to help having 4 healthy centers when we play the Magic. When need to rough up Dwight Howard.

    • Reminds me of the "miscommunication" the org had regarding the use of "Keep Pounding" back in 2021. Shouldn't even be in a position for things like this to be an issue given the state of the franchise the last several years.
    • Sad to see you feel/act like that. Hope you get healthy in the future. Keep Pounding.
    • Look, I've been pounding on the Canales shouldn't be calling the offensive plays thing since last year. He's first off, not very versatile and makes Ron Rivera look like a master of mid-game adjustments. Also, because I think you really, really need to be calling the offensive plays from the booth with a better view of the whole field.  A coach on the field cannot grasp how the opposing sideline WR is doing in coverage while also checking the two receivers on his side, plus keep up with how the line is doing and if the RB is in the groove. Heck, for the line alone he doesn't have the best view of where the RB is going to see success and how to best exploit it. Hence Rico saying, Yo coach, keep running this.  Still, all these things in there, no matter how hard I'm banging on that drum, I can't let it drown out my joy in getting one of those rare Ws. Even coaches can learn and grow from them. I sure hope he will.
