This is one of the things that scares me the most.

I don't know of any institution that announces that it has gotten hacked.

A few years ago, my neighbor banked with BofA and her bank account went to negative. (After having a fairly large deposit in it, her words.) She said that her BofA in Florida had gotten hacked and 100,000's of dollars had just disappeared. She evenutally got her money back courtesy of the bank, but it took several months.

Banks rarely go after the hackers for fear of the publicity, they just try and seal the leak and replace the money. (If you are a hacker, go after the banks!) That should scare you more as much as the military getting hacked. The world money supply if shaky enough all ready.

60 minutes did an episode recently on cyberwarfare. Scared the crap out of me.

China has apparently implanted programs into our power grids that are just sitting there and could potentially shut down the grid on the entire west coast...

one dude stole the names and SSNs of thousands of people in VA from a state medical database. Hacked the system and changed the password to his own. Asked for $10MM for the new password or he'd start selling the SSNs. VA claimed they "recovered" the data but when asked if they paid the $10MM "We cant comment on that". Hmmm....

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
