Spartacus Legends game

Free to play game on Xbox Live.  Anybody tried this yet?  I kind of dig it.  It's a basic fighting game but I like the setting and weapons.  I'm into medieval stuff anyway.  Tried a couple of online matches and totally dominated one guy and got dominated by another.   Pretty fun either way.

Of course being "free to play" means you can spend real money to buy gold to better outfit your gladiator.  I may drop some money on it since I like it though.

How so?  You have dodges, jukes, rolls, and light/heavy combo's.  It's just as I imagined a gladiator match to look like.

idk, have you played it?

the best way to put it would be to say it feels free lol. not very smooth or polished and it's definitely behind the curve in comparison to other fighting games.

yeah i've put about 10 hours into it.  It's not as deep as virtua fighter or soul caliber, but for what it is (free to play), I think it's pretty sweet.  Like I said, it's how I imagine a real gladiator match would go down.  It's also cool that they have different styles (dual swords, dual daggers, sword and shield, trident, and even bare knuckle).  I used to play a ton of fighting games back in the day (Mortal Kombat, Soul Caliber, Tekken, etc.) so I can say I have some experience with these types of games.  Although it's really not fair to compare this game to those for the simple fact that the realism is so much better with Spartacus Legends.

Then again, like I said, I'm a medieval buff and may be biased, but I love the game, even with some of the maddening bugs.

    • thats fair.   I was beginning to think rookie punter was in the plans
    • Sam Martin   CARPunter#6 Panthers re-signed P Sam Martin to a two-year contract. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Martin’s deal is up to $5 million. Martin joined the Panthers last season on a one-year deal and wound up booting 56 punts for an average of 47.2 yards per punt. Martin is a 13-year vet of the league who has spent time with four different franchises. He landed a career-best 48.2 percent of his kicks inside his opponent’s 20-yard line last season.
    • Surprised CB is that low.  19th is odd spot. For many recent drafts, teams only felt there were around 14 first round players.  So to many 19 is just an early second and doesn't hold the value of a first.  If you go off- the smart path of LT, QB, edge, WR, CB, etc. Whatever your OG, Safety, ILB, etc needs to be a difference maker, that's the key point. I've said the 8th best edge is better than the 1st safety. Same for QB and even WRs. You should 100% factor in position value.  MHS you've been wanting a FS, let me tell you its super difficult to be a difference making FS. You're just sooo farrrr away from the action and the end result most times. If you're in the play, defense made mistakes in order. Now to talk out of both sides, maaaaaann that white boy from Oregon....I thought he crushed the combine and honestly that alone made me rethink "is he worth 19 now?!?!" he's now in the discussion for me, but still below others.    Plus I feel TE is vastly underrated in value terms. But looking at the last 20 years of TEs in the first, its down right bad. You're better like X10 better drafting one in 4th or 5th.
