After ObamaCare my tax rate is now higher. Currently 1 of every $4 I make goes to the govmt. I guess I'm just not paying my fair share though.

those in nc. have you seen your taxes jump? by like alot? mine doubled and nothing has really changed. maybe i shouldn't be doing my taxes while watching Duke vs Carolina....

I made about 25% more this year, though (but have 8 months of mortgage interest to claim now). We'll see

Bet you are dividing the tax by taxable income...not gross income. Because if you are paying 27% of your gross pay in just Federal taxes, you are likely doing something wrong.
