No, nick young has never played on a team over .500 He is a scorer that doesn't play defense. he also is a head case. Won't fit our team at all

Linnsanity, Mo Williams, Aaron Brooks, Nate Robinson, CJ Watson, Jameer Nelson, Andre Miller
^^^All can bring something to the team. Another player I would like to see, but not a PG, is Gerald Green given a shot on the cheap here. I have always liked his game.

We are already at the cap. We need to move a player like Marvin before we can throw money at any 'names'. Otherwise we will be offering league minimum contracts.

Looking at the East, can we make it in? Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, Milwaukee, Toronto and Miami seem like locks. That leaves 1 more spot for Charlotte, Indiana, Boston and Detroit to fight over. Kemba, Batum, Mkg and Al will have to be at their best for us to make noise. Kaminsky has to provide a lift in his rookie year. Hawes and PJ have to be shooting above .350 from 3pt range.

We are back to building through trades. Our playoff run with Kemba and Al seems like forever ago and nba FAs think so too. Lance was supposed to be 'the guy' for us but that move set us back 2 years, ughhhhh. FAs wont come here unless they are 2nd or 3rd tier FAs looking for a team. Either we cross our fingers waiting for Steph, hope the ping pong balls fall in our favor or play above our talent level this year and make the playoffs and hope FAs see us as a team on the rise.

    Cerebral move for future..?
We all witnessed LeBron 'retun home' this past offseason and are all keeping an eye on Durant and if he will go back to DC when his contract is up.
So with that in mind, Steph Curry's contract is up in 2 years too. People have hinted at the possibility of him 'coming home' to Carolina- even the Commish mentioned it in passing when we were awarded the All-Star game. Now, team have been positioning themselves for Durrant for months now, what if we positioned ourselves for Curry right now? How, do you ask? Well, I'm glad you did.. Steph Curry is up in 2 years and David Lee has been documented as Steph's best friend on the Warrior's roster. What if we offered David Lee a fair 3 year contract. That way when Curry is up for FA- he will be looking at 'Home' and see his best bud on the team already. I know we already have a abundance of Bigs right now, but we could trade Zeller and Marvin comes off the books next year. I think it would be smart if we truly are eyeing a return home for Steph.

teams are willing to sign these FA's this year and pay the luxery tax- then next year when the cap jumps- they will be back under the luxery tax

Roberts was not inept at PG. When Kemba went down- he played well in his absence. He was asked to do what none of us thought he could do and was up to par.
As far as Belineli goes- i think he could be a perfect fit. Doubt it happens though

True Zaximus- I wonder if they are thinking of changing Williams to more natural position of SF. He seemed to be playing out of position last year at PF.
    PG: Kemba, Roberts
    SG: Batum, Lamb, PJ, Daniels
    SF: MKG, Williams
    PF: Hawes, Zeller
    C: Jefferson, Kaminsky

    Positions of need/change?
    PG: Kemba, Roberts
    SG: Batum, PJ, Daniels
    SF: MKG, Lamb
    PF: Hawes, Zeller, Williams
    C: Jefferson, Kaminsky
Coming off the books- Mo Williams, Jeff Taylor, Maxiell, BIZ and finally stop paying the amnesty on Tyrus Thomas (even though that didn't count against the cap).
We obviously need a 3rd PG. Another wing scorer would help immensely. I feel like we have a lot of players playing out of position. Have you ever heard of a 6'8 SG? We are forced to do so because of MKG's shooting ability or lack thereof. I hope he did what he did last year and stayed in the gym so he keeps improving that shot because in all actuality- this is what we have:
    PG: Kemba, Roberts
    SG: Lamb, PJ, Daniels
    SF: Batum, MKG
    PF: Hawes, Zeller, Kaminsky, Williams
    C: Jefferson
Omega gave a good pitch for bringing Biz back on a qualifying offer, but I think we need add another wing defender/scorer. Jeffery Taylor's qualifying offer would only be a little less than $1.2 mil- that is spare change compared to others on the FA market that does what he does. I think Taylor still wasn't 100% coming off the achilles injury. I would love to see what he can do again this year. I know the domestic violence charge is a shadow hanging over him but we sure could use his defense. Especially in Clifford's system- the only decent-above average defenders we have are MKG, Batum, Zeller and Marvin. We will have to see what Cho does. We have lost the playoff-glow we had last year. I don't know if this is the same team we will be taking into the season this year.
