  1. Either Lynch is experiencing a pre-draft free fall

Dave isn't moving back 5 spots AND giving up his 5th year option for a 4th rounder.
  2. Peanut wants to play one more year

Worth a shot. Not sure a 35 year old CB coming off of an ACL reconstruction is going to be a viable option though.
  3. Forget predictions. Who do you want?

I just don't see that he has a great feel for the game and instincts. That's what I meant when I said that I'm not sure if he's a football player. Yeah, his technique is a mess but that can be addressed. Instincts less so.
  4. Forget predictions. Who do you want?

What do others see in Burns that I'm missing? I see a helluva athlete who isn't a football player.
  5. Either Lynch is experiencing a pre-draft free fall

I hope he goes before #30. Just one more prospect pushed down the board for us. But, it wouldn't surprise me if this was true. Every time I see an interview of this kid he comes off as an incredibly smug, cocky downright dickhead. Wouldn't surprise me if he really rubbed teams the wrong way in interviews.
  6. Swole Bones to the Seahawks

Seems like there's always a backup TE who is the fan darling but never amounts to anything for us. Hopefully Swole Bones can do like Barnidge and have a career elsewhere. I just hope that it's ultimately not in Seattle. fug the Seahawks.
  7. Forget predictions. Who do you want?

I want Sterling Shepard. I don't care if it's at #30 or a trade up in the 2nd, but I want Sterling Shepard. My ideal first two picks would be Ogbah at #30 and a trade up in the 2nd to secure Shepard. The mid-rounds guy I want is Harlan Miller. If you give me a second mid-rounds guy ill take Miles Killebrew. I also find Carl Nassib very intriguing.
  8. Mike Miller bleacher report 7 round mock draft..

I hate BR and their damn click greedy slideshows. Ain't nobody got time for that.
  9. REPORT: Panthers interested in moving UP in 1st round

I doubt we move up in the 1st, it's just too costly. However, if the right guy slides, who knows? If a guy Gettleman has in the top 15 is still on the board and we're a few picks away, it'd be worth making some calls to inquire. But, if we do trade up, I think that's the type of trade we'd make - just moving up a few spots to secure a coveted guy, not making a big leap up the board.
  10. 2016 NFL DRAFT GENERAL CHATTER SUPER FUN TIME

The fact that we tried to add a good #2 TE in the off-season makes me want to agree with you. The fact that this is a sorry TE class makes me want to disagree with you. So, I'll go with 50/50.
  11. 2016 Panthers First Round Draft Selection Tree

Jesus. See, this is what I'm talking about. From the way some of our fans act, you'd think we had a top WR corps. Not even close. We have a very promising young WR in KB who is coming off of a blown knee. He's good and I love him, but our fans act like he's Megatron. He's not THAT. Funchess showed some promise late last season and is a nice developmental player. Ginn is a fast guy who drops a ton of balls. A nice guy to have to stretch the field, but if he's starting that's not good. Philly is way too hot/cold. Some games he shows promise of being a decent NFL WR other games he looks like he simply doesn't belong. If we draft a WR in the first three rounds and Philly has another preseason like last year, he won't make the team. Key to the offense... Lololol!!! Honestly, a 1st round talent WR should come onto this roster and push for a starting job.
  12. Predict Gettleman's Day 3 WTF pick?

Not much would surprise me on day 3. Certainly not a punter. We need one. I guess I'd be a little surprised by a QB since Anderson is entrenched at #2 and we like Webb as a utility player and #3. The only way a 3rd QB is making our active roster is if he's like Webb and can contribute in other ways as well. But, we've definitely shown some interest in some late round and UDFA type QBs.
  13. 2016 Panthers First Round Draft Selection Tree

You really think a 1st round talent WR would get no snaps for us? I'm not sure if any position group in the history of this franchise has ever been as collectively overrated by our fan base as our current WR corps.
  14. 2016 Panthers First Round Draft Selection Tree

Based on what I've seen, he pretty much doesn't. That's not necessarily uncommon for highly rated TEs coming out of college and it was true of Olsen as well. My issue with Henry is that I just don't see anything special. I think his value is being inflated because this is a terrible TE draft.
  15. Any player who wouldn't be crushed after a SB loss is a player I don't want on my team. Guys like Brady and Manning didn't necessarily handle losing SBs in a great way, but where was the hate then?
