  1. Its called "rent-free living in the craniums, 24/7". Hell, Cam still owns real estate in the heads of 99.99% of the fans of the SEC (more like 100% for Bama fans).
  2. If Cam Newton wasn't a Panther...

Since he was an Auburn Tiger before that, my answer to you is 100% yes! (Now please do not reword this to make Cam a University of Alabama QB because I don't want to have to hunt you down. :P )
  3. "Show me a good loser... "

Dude, I was just joking around. CAM'S A POOR SPORT (as they hand the Lombardi "Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser" Trophy to John Elway). Get it?
  4. "Show me a good loser... "

    Transcript from BBR: http://blackandbluereview.com/transcript-cam-newton-on-super-bowl-press-conference-late-fumble/   PREACH!
  5. "Show me a good loser... "

So what you're saying is the guy for whom the Super Bowl trophy was named was a bad loser, right?  :)
  6. And, to follow up on this (and, yes, I just quoted myself), coming to the line with very little time on the play clock just made it easier on Miller and Ware to get their damn head-start on their pass rush.
  7. To support this point, its incredibly difficult for a QB to scan the defense pre-snap and change a play when the offense isn't getting to the line until there's about 7 seconds left on the play clock.
  8. Ealy made Super Bowl History

This is not a good FA year with regard to 4-3 DEs.
  9. Seriously wtf is this Charlotte?

I see you totally avoided my questions to you to invent a straw-man question of your own to respond to, so I'll try again. You said that if you "give it" you "have to take it". I repeat:  When has Cam "given it" to the sports media? Alternatively, if what you're saying is Cam "gives it" on the field, then how is it the medias job to make him "take it"? I know many of us are reflexive Cam defenders.  I plead guilty. But its quite clear in how you respond with regard to matters of the media and the press that you are a reflexive Media defender.   And I feel quite comfortable that my defense of Cam Newton, a GOOD young man, is a much more respectable position than your constant defense of the media, which regularly ranks as one of the least trusted and respected professions in society http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/big-data-download/most-least-trusted-occupations-160721749.html .
  10. Seriously wtf is this Charlotte?

When, in the past, did Cam "give it" to the sports media? As far as my observations are concerned, Cam has been nothing but RESPECTFUL to the sports media for years, even after they chewed him up and spit him out at Auburn and during the NFL draft process. Or is your point that because Cam expresses joy in his chosen career on the field, it is incumbent upon sports media to take him down a peg or two?  Because if that is what you're saying, then that is equally stupid.
  11. Seriously wtf is this Charlotte?

"Cam Newton got his comeuppance" screams loudly two things to me: Mr. Fowler thinks Mr. Newton is "uppity". Mr. Fowler thinks Mr. Newton should "learn his place". As I've pointed out in a couple of threads since Sunday, I grew up in the Jim Crow South.  You can't fugging fool ME with your coded language.  I've heard it all before.
  12. Seriously wtf is this Charlotte?

I'm likely to be blocked by Mr. Fowler on Twitter very soon now.  :)
  13. Simple minds *do* love to make up poo to laugh about, don't they?
  14. Pocket? We don need no stinkin' POCKET! I wonder if the receivers were breaking open that soon in their 20 yard downfield patterns?
  15. Winning with grace

I really don't give a single poo about what Denver says. Let them say it.  They won.
