Anyone know why it is not playing anywhere? It was released on Nov 25th. I was looking forward to going and seeing it.

It's only in two theaters here in Austin, and only the artsy ones.

They filmed the baby roasting on a spit scene, then removed it from the film.

I have been looking for it everywhere too. I am in Kentucky/Tennesse area. I recently finished the book and thought it was great! The book "Choke" was made a movie last year and I didnt see it anywhere in theaters either.

I have mixed feelings about this movie. The book was absolutely amazing. McCarthy is a genius. I wouldn't want the movie to take away from the story, and I know it will.

with an author like Mcarthy I wouldn't want to see the movie without reading the book first.

I actually thought the book was boring as poo, and I love most post-apocalyptic literature.
