The problem with Schwartz being the guy is this: if Otah or Gross go down at some point in the season we'd have to swap around 2 positions rather than just one. Schwartz might be better in pass blocking than Bernardeau but not by enough of a margin to risk damaging OL chemistry that much if an injury should happen. And knowing our team it probably will.

right guard is literally the easiest to play position in the nfl after RB

If Gross doesn't improve. dude may be put at LT. He has never been a run blocker, now he can't pass block...Dude!!!

A. Stick with Bernadeau
B. Go with Duke Robinson
C. Move Schwartz to RG when Otah returns

I believe that (Move Schwartz to RG when Otah returns) is the correct answer.

It seems as if we are wanting Bernadeau to be a backup center and all-around utility offensive lineman,a vast project in the works,it seems.

Duke Robinson would be ideal,if and when,he ever gets in shape and loses weight so he is able to regain his lateral quickness,like he had in college.
