Never played on PSN, but we got a PS3 and it's really awesome. Have it basically just for MLB The Show. Xbox is superior IMO though.
I will say, I would like to have a PS3 JUST for MLB. We lose that luxury with Xbox.

This. MLB The Show is the best sports game BY FAR I have ever played. Can literally sit on my ass for hours playing that game without getting bored at all.
As for PS3 vs. Xbox.... PSN could be down another two months, and it still wouldn't equal the amount of downtime I experienced sending not one, but two 360's away to get the red ring of bullpoo fixed

Get the new 250GB Xbox's. Looks more badass and supposed to not overheat, causing the RRoD. I love it. Haven't had any trouble. Of course, I've only had it for 4 months. But it runs smoother and quieter than the original Xbox I had.
