In case anyone is interested. I always enjoy reading these early predictions and comparing them to when we get closer to next year's draft.

This is also relevant b/c I figure WR could easily be at the top of our need list next year. That and CB, OT.

I think Blackmon will be the first WR picked next year, with Floyd going in the top 10 too (if he can keep his nose clean).

Jeffery will make a case to be the number 1 WR next year. Really did it this year but got underhyped because he plays for USC.

Jake Locker would have been the #1 pick this year without a doubt, next year people will be trading their draft away for him.

Wait, we're in 2011? Sorry.

He plays for the university of South Carolina, not Southern California. Even as a Clemson fan, I can say he is a beast and IMO he is the best WR in the class.

Alshon Jeffery and Justin Blackmon will be fighting for the spot of #1 receiver taken, and they should be taken close together. Wouldn't be surprised if both were in the top 10 either.

If I had my choice, it would be Jeffery if we could get him. He's taller, has better ball skills, and is only a few hundredths of a second slower in the 40 than Blackmon.

Sidney Rice is a bust? You must be talking about USC-West.

I'd be happy with Alshon Jeffrey, Juron Criner, or the Floyd fellow from ND.

Rice?

Sterling Sharpe?

You must be referring to Troy Williamson. He was drafted without doing much as USC-drafted on his measurables.

Not many schools can say they have a bunch of WRs in the NFL who succeeded. Jerry Rice, TO, Randy Moss, and very underrated Donald Driver might be the best in the last 20 years.

Mississippi Valley State
UT Chatanooga
Marshall
Alcorn State

Aside from Miami, I can not think of a school known for producing top WRs consistently.
