Big game tonight. The top team in the league playing at (one of) the hottest team in the league right now. Carolina clawing their way towards a playoff push looking to extend an impressive home streak. Staal Wars... Marc vs Eric, first time they've been on the ice together since Eric gave him the concussion...

...and Fox Sports Carolinas is showing the Women's ACC Tournament. SMDH! :mad:

Have to have NHL Pass or find less than legal ways to watch. (PM me)

Good scoreless 1st period by both teams; shots, blocks and hits are all pretty even, both teams are playing good defense and both are 0-1 on the PP.

Eric Staal had a great second chance shot that clanked off the post right before the horn.

We start the 2nd with right at 1 minute left on our first Power Play.

They tie it up on a sick shot through McBain's legs.

Then a defensive breakdown leads to a flurry of shots on Cam, but we survive...

Then Skinner tries to Board Marc Staal and gets a penalty...

Then gets his ass beat by half the Ranger's lineup and is the only one who goes off the ice.

WTF???

I have a feeling this game is going to be decided in the next [e]11[/e] minutes.

We had a late surge and made it a one goal game with 39.7 seconds left. But we couldn't get puck in the net to take it to OT.

Whoever said luck doesn't play a part in sports needs to watch this game over and over. We lose because of the most BS goal ever and BARELY missing on some goals. We're close boys. We're damn close. I know we all get tired of hearing it, but we're not far from being a scary contender in the Eastern Conference.
