Read somewhere that the Magic and Hornets are completing a sign and trade sending David Anderson to the Hornets for Gustavo Ayon.

Yup, but its Ryan Anderson. This probably means Chris Kaman and Carl Landry are now available, Hornets wont be able to keep them since they will likely match the Suns offer on Eric Gordon. Hopefully this also means the hornets will be good enough next year that Stern wont be able to hand them the #1 pick ;)

Either one would be a useful addition to the bobcats frontcourt at the right price.

The Hornets just raped the Magic in that trade...

The Hornets acquired Ryan Anderson from the Magic and in return they will send the Magic Gustavo Ayon.

The Hornets roster is starting to take shape and when they match the Suns offer for Gordon they will have the following roster...

PG: Austin Rivers, Jarrett Jack, Greivis Vasquez

SG: Eric Gordon, Xavier Henry

SF: Al-Farouq Aminu, Darius Miller

PF: Ryan Anderson, Jason Smith

C: Anthony Davis

Also I don't see Kaman being an option now because if the Pacers don't match the Blazers offer for Hibbert, they will be throwing all their money at Kaman.

My bad on the Anderson thing...called him David when I meant Ryan. Thanks on catching that. Also, I dont think Eric Gordon is going to stay with N.O. I do think they'll match the offer placed on him, but I think they're going to trade him right after that due to him not wanting to be there. Either way, that team is going to be a force in the future.

Haha, I knew I had heard the name before- David Anderson is actually a Euroleague center that came over a few years ago. He played for the Rockets and the Hornets oddly enough before heading back to Europe last year

Why the heck would anyone want to go back to New Orleans?

It doesn't matter what he wants though, it matters what the Hornets want.

I posted this over at BP, but considering we apparently were interested in another PG (Dragic), the Suns removed their QO from Aaron Brooks two days ago. I was a fan of his after I read about him in Slam while he was at Oregon. A couple of years ago, he was blowing up and seemed like the "future of the franchise" for Houston.

Then, after the Martin trade and several other moves, it's like he just fell off. Kyle Lowery seemed like a tweener-scrub at the time, and somehow ended up taking the starting job from Brooks. Then Brooks was traded to the Suns and I think he played in China after the lockout last year. Haven't heard any positive news about him recently, but from what I remember, he was an awesome player as the starting PG with the Rockets.

What do you all think?

Read somewhere that Dwight is close to being a Net. The deal involves Cleveland, Orlando, and Brooklyn.
