I agree... but at the same time I just deleted all my shortcuts except the recycle bin. I'm already enjoying a clutter free desktop.

That's the first thing I thought, Everyone has their crap left aligned on their desktop... I prefer the empty desktop myself. I'm bored at work maybe I'll shop it real quick
