I think Haruki is the guy that will take Martin's spot. I hear he's been running with the ones the past 3 practices.

I'm really pulling for Nakamura, if you haven't read his story; you need to. He is a great guy and I fully expect him to seize the opportunity he has been presented with, and become our starting free safety for years to come.

At camp he looks so comfortable, he's out there barking orders like he has been here for ages and that is something that this team desperately needs. We haven't had a true vocal leader in the secondary since Minter and I for one think Nakamura can be that guy.

I will definitely be getting a Nakamura jersey when he wins the starting free safety job.

You can do it Haruki!!!

Just watching that video made me feel like he was the starter. Listening to him can make you forget he was a FA pickup.

I get so tired of straining to hear every video interview on the Panther's site after getting blasted when the adds run.

Is it really so hard to achieve consistent volume?

The video department leaves a lot to be desired.

I think this could end up being our best signing on D in a while. Might be a more athletic Jim Leonhard.

    • My question is whether we're sold enough on him to trade up with Jacksonville to ensure we get him. What would that take? I'd offer them our late 2nd rounder that we got from the Pats, take it or leave it. No way they trade down just for our 3rd round comp. pick and no way Gettleman gives up our original 2nd rounder. I maintain that the best case scenario for the Panthers is for at least 1 QB to go in the top-6, either to the 49ers or Jets. Jacksonville could opt for Solomon Thomas or Jonathan Allen over Fournette, but not likely anyone else other than Garrett, who is going 1st overall without a doubt. Would also be helpful for the Titans to go safety over corner, leaving the Jets with the option to take Lattimore. 1. CLE: Myles Garrett
      2. SF: Mitchell Trubisky
      3. CHI: Jonathan Allen
      4. JAX: Solomon Thomas
      5. TEN: Malik Hooker
      6. NYJ: Marshon Lattimore
      7. SD: Jamal Adams
      8. CAR: Leonard Fournette
    • ¿Que? No puedo creerlo. El no parece un Mexicano.
